U.K. rock phenoms Coldplay have announced 10 dates for what will comprise the group's first-ever tour of North America. The trek will get underway Feb. 8 in Vancouver and work its way east, where it will conclude Feb. 22 in Miami. The band plans to return to the U.S. in June for additional shows.

As previously reported, Coldplay will kick off a new round of European performances Wednesday (Nov. 29) in Stockholm. The group is touring in support of its debut album "Parachutes," which debuted at No. 12 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart earlier this month. The album bowed at No. 1 in the U.K. on Parlophone this summer, and has sold 700,000 copies to date there, according to the label.
