Steps to Live

In life there comes a time when we as an individual must set steps for ourselves. These steps are to help us to achieve the goals we set for ourselves whether personally and/or professionally. It is our responsibility to make sure those steps are not compromised.

*Nothing is as easy as it may seem nor is it harder to than it looks.

*Never give up without trying all possible solutions.
- than invent one-

*Never let anyone or anything get in your way of achieving your present goal.

*Never get in anyone else’s way.

*Focus on your goals.

*Being number one is not always the best.

*Know when to go for it and when to step back.

*Patience is important when dealing with anyone.

*Remember who you are not what you or someone else want you to be.

*Plan on having setbacks.

*Setbacks are new forms of challenges.

*Compromise is not always a bad thing.

*Sometimes it’s better to withhold the truth if and only if it will serve a greater purpose.
- But be prepared for when the truth comes out -

*Choose your words carefully. People are sensitive to certain words.

*Try never to be persuaded but inform.

*Open your mind to new ideas.

*Sometimes it’s better to take a leap of faith.

*Problems will exist as long as let them.

*There’s a time and place for everything.

*Never allow yourself to be brought down by others.

*Always walk away with your Pride, Dignity, Honor intact.

*Too much Pride eliminates some of your options.

*Something shouldn’t be taken at face value.

*Step back and relax when problems and people become a pain.

*Never handle any situation when you are anger.

*Remember the truth is a three-edge sword: there’s both sides than the truth.

When you face a challenge that you can’t seem to handle and you’re losing hope remember this excerpt from a poem a face that challenge.

Though much is taken, much abides; and thought
we are not now that strength which in old days moved earth and heaven
that which we are, we are.
One equal temper of heroic hearts made weak by time and fate,
but strong in will, to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
Alfred, Lord Tennyson Ulysses Oct. 1833
