Manifesto
I am going to change the world.
I am going to take some of its beauty with me when I go,
and I will leave some of my own behind.
Yes, I am. I can't wait.
I'm going to move, move, move,
onward and upward,
until I become this power,
this mentality,
this phenomenon,
this force of nature;
something to be reckoned with.
I will build things up.
I will knock things down.
I will throw the whole world into a
planetary backspin.
I will be a mother,
a daughter,
a sister.
I will be a time-maker,
a time-taker,
a time-traveler.
I will be a rock,
an island,
a metropolis.
I will be light and sound and taste.
I will be anything
I want to be.
I will make my voice heard.
I will stand up.
I will be counted.
And I will never apologize for it.
