all about Leisha

so you want to know about me, eh? well, you're a brave one, so i guess i'll humor you a little bit. here goes...

i am a junior at central college in pella, iowa. i am 20 years old and majoring in communication. i don't know exactly what i want to do with my degree yet, but i'm sure i'll figure it out when the time is right. at least i hope so! i am in the a cappella choir and sing with the jazz combo (when i'm not sick)and i work at dr.salami's in pella as a waitress and cook.

i graduated from eddyville-blakesburg hs in 1998 where i was involved in more than i should have been. i was a nutcase back then. i think i still i am....

i spent august 30th ~ december 19th of 2000 abroad in carmarthen, wales at trinity college. i didn't get much accomplished scholastically, but...it was the most amazing thing that i have ever done! i spend a week in ireland, went kayaking, caving, and rock climbing in the outdoor pursuits class...met some of the greatest people on earth...and got to stay away from home for almost 4 entire months! but i must admit, i did get a little homesick at the end when everyone was leaving. i'm ready to go back now, so if you feel like buying me a plane ticket to the united kingdom, feel free!
