Black and Blue is the best Backstreet Boys album in my opinoin. I love it. The whole record rules. But not only that, I had the most fun of my life at the Black and Blue concerts.

I went to 3 Black and Blue concerts here in Vegas. March 8 March 10 and October 19, 2001. I will try take you through those days with me...
{please take the time to read the story it make soo much more sense that way}

March 8, 2001 I took Nadia, My sister Reyna. and Maria that night. I bought my ticket the day it came out and I bought thiers like a while after so I wasn't sitting with them. I was closer.
I told them that they HAD to wear a BSB shirt at least. Well Nadia and Maria were too lazy or whatever so I was happy to make them one myslef :)
Reyna made her own. Her favorite is Howie. Her shirt was purple with Howie writtin in glitter. The shirt was outlined in glitter, she had a glitter necklace, her pants were out lined in glitter, and last but not least her shoes were coverd in glitter. Awesome huh.

Heres us just before leaving my house to go to the MGM. As you can tell I'm not a happy camper - Well what do you expect! I was gonna be late for BSB just to take that stupid picture!
No but it was sooooo much fun that night I calmed down when we got to MGM. We were being stupid yeling at people and stuff.
This Loser guy who worked at a place in the MGM yelled at us "who you here to see Nsxxx!!??" I was so pissed I said "BACKSTREET BOYS!!!!!!" and Nadia Reyna nd Maria were like "its okay Monica well kick his ass when we get out"...>:( we never got around to it. Hes lucky they were holding me back LOL.
We got SOOOOOO much attention from our outfits. It felt really good to have peple compliment us. What can I say BSB fans are so nice :) as I like to call them "MY PEOPLE"

March 10, 2001
I woke up this morning (from a dream that you were saying goodbye LOL no j/k). I woke up this morinng of March 10 with a Mission.
Well at the first B&B concert I saw like 3 girls who were front row. They were geting SOOOOOOOO much attention from ALL the boys. I was so jealous. They couldn't even see me :(
So I woke up that morning with a Mission to try and win Front Row seats. I know crazy thought right??
Our local radio sation 98.5 KLUC were doing this thing were if you show KLUC at the B&B concert you could win front row seats depending on who they pick as the best.
So I decided that I was gonna make my own KLUC something. This is REALLY not like me to do this because Im not a last minute kind of person. I usally give my slef months in advance if I do anything for a BSB concert. All I had were a few hours to make it happen. On top of that I had to get ready and make sure my friends were gonna come.
So I though about it for a while, what should I do?? Of course GLITTER lots and lots of GLITTER could do the job. I had some laying around, but still not enough. So then left with my pjs still on to Wal-Mart TAKING THE BUS! At the bus stop Im thinking to myself your crazy Monica. I ran inside Wal-Mart went to craft center got two huge things of sliver glitter and a huge peice of black cloth. I went home and started my project. Then guess what happend....... I ran out of glue! OMG! SO I ran as fast as i could to the nearest store buy me... I HATE RUNNING! I HATE IT! Thats why I always failed PE LOL. But for BSB heh running no problem. SO in a matter of like 2 hours I had to gt it all done.
With my hand COVERD in glue and glitter I had to call up my friends Oreal and Shanel and make sure they were gonna make it cuz if not I would have to take somone else. They said yes still.
Well to my suprise I got my project done on time! I did it all by myself. phew! ust for a tiny chance that I could get close to BSB

This was my project ^ Said KLUC (not very straight but hey it wasnt that bad) and it had a face kinda like this :'( and it said PLEEEEASE.

So Oreal and Shanel made it! We all got together at my house. We were soooo excited. This was also thier frist BSB show and I was happy to take them.

We had to take the bus there (which kinda reminds me of my first BSB concert) but it was all good we made it on time.
Also like a couple nights before, we went KRAZY! when we got there OMG I love doing that. Just before we went inside we saw a BSB picture in the MGM we had to all take a pic by.

After finishing being stupid we went inside the arena. We had pretty bad seats. I dunno what came over me but I stoped talking. Just sat there didnt want to talk. Oreal and Shanel were asking what was wrong. I was nervous, very nervous. I was thinking about how much time and effort I put into that sign and what if they dont pick me.. then what will I do for the rest of the show? probably feel really bad. I didn't want to ruin it for the girls but if I lost I couldnt help but feel bad. Then I was like .. this could also be the begining of the best night of my life and I dont even know it. Oh yes I was stressing. I just wanted to get it over with.
Well after KRYSTAL's performace the KLUC thing sarted.. this was our Q to get together and hold up our sign. I pulled it out the bag as fast as I could and we held it up as high as we could. I just stood there behind the sign just hoping for the best.
While I was holding the sign this girl came up to me and was like - "Are you for KLUC?" and I'm like "what?" but I was thinking (can you please leave me alone Im trying to win tickets here). SO I say yeah I was there for KLUC and she said "OK follow me" I was still not sure what was happening I'm like oooook . Then she goes - "Wait how many are in your party?" I said 3 and she goes oh we only have 2 tickets. LOL i wasnt worried all I knew was IM GOING. and the other two decided to let Oreal come with me.
So we follow this lady to around somewhere... I'm like okay so we might win KOOOOOL! and she turns around and goes "are you ladys excited?" Im like WTF????? Wait did we just win? and when I realized we did I WENT CRAZY.. I was NUMB my legs were shaky. It was a HUGE suprise..
We just had to go to the front and show our sign and we were handed 2 front row seats. While walking down to front row we shook the DJS hand just kept going further and further down I WAS IN A DAZE.
People we stareing at us .. one lady said "oh look those are the girls who won WOW look at thier outfits THey DESERVE IT" THAT WAS SO SWEET! I felt like a star people were just staring at us complementing us it was the best feeling.

We go down to our seats and I just looked up to where our seats were and front row. Man it was crazy.
I sat next o two lil gilrs like 6 years old and Oreal was next to two girl who were like 13 14 years old. One of the girls was the daughter of the manager of KLUC. She was so cute. Congradulating us. She said that these other girls were about to win the tickets. They were in army oufits with KLUC umbrellas. They already had pretty close seats. I saw them from front row. So the managers daughter was like "Yeah they were about to win but I said NO look back there and pointed at your sign and they picked you instead." I was like awww how nice! She and her friend get front row seats all the time from her dad and had met BSB like 3 times. IM SO JELOUS! She said that she hated NSUCK! I was like hell yeah HIGH FIVE. We asked who was thier favs and her friend goes "AJ" but then put her hands up ad was like "BUT NOT AS MUCH AS YOU DO!" like ok dont kick my ass LOL j/k.

So then the lights turn down for the show to start. Im like ready to die now, I was so excited. When they came out we were screaming so much! I was jumpng up and down. Then that daugther girl goes " YOUR SHIRT GLOWS IN THE DARK!" I said " I KNOW! LOL". My eyes were fixed on AJ. All I wanted was AJ to look at me once. When they all turned to the side during the dance in EVERYONE the frist minutes I looked straight at AJ and JUMPED and SCREAMED as much as I could. I saw his eyes looking around and he stoped at me and grined!!!! I was like OMG OMG OMG did you see that? He smiled at me!
Then it was AJs part in the song he started singing and walking towards my way. But he didnt look at me. THen he stoped in front of me and pointed right at me like 5 times. LOL he tricked me into thinking he couldnt see me but he did.
I took like 10 rolls of film and used everyone.
During the rest of the show Brian pointed his cane at me :) so sweet!
I kept looking at AJ the whole show. He was so amazing. THere was a part in the show when AJ was allll the way on the other side of the stage so I knew I couldnt see him too well so I decided for a few seconds to look at the other guys closer to me Kevin and Brian were the closest so I was like BRIAN BRIAN BRAIN! He didnt see me so I say KEVIN! and he looked at me and I'm like uhhhh what do I do now? I say HI like a dumbass. SO Kevin decided to have a "chat" with me. He points at my shirt and his shirt and made a face like WTF? I was like thinking hmm what? he kept doing it then he made like a dissapointed face and he points at himslef and goes why not me?. He was talking about how my shirt sais AJ and not Kevin I'm like awwwww IM SORRY BUT I LOVE AJ! Then my friend Oreal comes in an says I love you! (lier cuz she likes Nick lol) and he goes- ohhh ok you like me thats kool LOL and we started laughing. I got out my camera really fast to take a pic but my camera wasnt working right. KEVIN was so damn sweet just to stand there and wait for me to take the pic .. omg hes too sweet! That meant so much to me.
I had bought AJ a yellow playboy hat and a yellow bunny before the first vegas show but I didnt take it the first night I decided to take it the second night. That night i decided not to take the bunny just to keep it and just take the hat.
Since I knew what was gonna happend in the show I decided to give him the hat after they come over the bridge because AJ was always first onstage at that time.
When AJ was still on the bridge I took off the hat from my neck (remember the pic from up top?) and waved it in the air because I wanted AJ to see it was mine. Then that kluc girl goes "are you gonna throw that up?" I said "yeah but on stage no on the bridge" I dont think he saw the hat in my hand but who knows. SO I waited patiently till he got to the stage. Then I threw it as hard as I could. But I totaly missed the stage and I know everyone saw that. I was so dissapointed. There were some dancers below the stage and I begged them to please get my hat. Wen they were done laughing at me one guy gave it back and my friend Oreal threw it up on stage. She made it right at the edge by where AJ was. He saw it












































































































HE GO IT!!!!! First he picked up from the ground and thats the pic in the middle the he acted like he was gonna put it in on- thats the pic on the left. Then he walked around with it for a while. He went to the back with the drummers and figured out it was velcrow in the back so he just opened it an put it over his bandanna. Then when he was walking toward the front again he HAD TO TURN IT TO THE SIDE! SO FRIGGIN HOT! He was posing for me can you see? I have tons of pic of AJ with my hat. It matched his shirt! hehehe

Oh and like toward the end of the show AJ threw out in the audience his towel and it looked like he was aiming for us but I didnt get it :( Then he threw his water bottle and I got it! LOL my friend Oreal said that she thinks he knew that was my hat and he was aimimg for us but I dunno. Nother thing was he stood in front of me the whole time with my hat just like he was standing there for me.. what can I say we have a conncetion lol hey just let me believe that okay.

As you know all good things must come to an end :( I didnt want to leave!! We walked out and people still were complementing us so that made me feel better about leaving. We went to the bathroom. I saw this lady who I had met at the Millennium tour so that was kool. But we also saw those girls who lost to us :-P well one girl was nice but the rest were sooo dogging us I was like wtf?
When we went outside the MGM this girl was like "did you enjoy your chat with kevin?" I'm like "omg you saw that??" she said "yes you couldnt miss you. You stood out so well you friggin glew in the dark!" I was luaghing. Man I had never been so tired in all my life i was sooo tired slept so good that night :) :) :) I wish I could relive that night.. Best night of my life!

This was my last BSB BNB concert. I had really bad seats but it was such a good show. I took my mom and oldest sis Bridgette. After this show BSB had to be on a plane to NY for a show, I swear I saw them leave in there black vans to the airport.
