Bio: Created by the living spirit of the Earth to protect the planet,
Battra fought Mothra long ago when the Cosmos civilization tried to control the
Earth's weather, destroying the ancient society. In modern times, Battra
was reborn, emerging from Siberia and soon attacking Nagoya.
When Mothra reappeared, Battra was soon there, thinking to destroy his ancient
enemy. Only a stalemate battle with Godzilla saved Mothra from her ancient
foe. When Mothra later evolved into her adult form, Battra did likewise, and the
two giant insects engaged in a running battle high over Japan. Settling in
Yokohama, the two were again faced with the menace of Godzilla.
During the terrific battle, Mothra convinced Battra to aid her in defeating
their common foe. Battra agreed and Godzilla was soon subdued. However, in
flying Godzilla out to sea, the monster revived and savaged Battra's neck with
his jaws. Mortally injured, Battra's spirit fled and Mothra let the
lifeless corpse of her unlikely ally sink into the ocean along with Godzilla.
She then headed out into space to accomplish what Battra had emerged to do, stop
an asteroid that was on its way to destroy the Earth.
But Battra, though he had fallen, did not die yet. The earth was merciful and
gave life to Battra once more. Battra later made his way to Monster Island
were he regained his strength over the year. Battra was then discovered by
another one that had fallen in victory as well. The Fallen Warrior
now rides with Battra in order to reclaim what was lost .
