Part One: The Resurrection
Chapter
Four: Beijing
A few hours later, the Garula landed on the outskirts of Beijing. The
warship had a cloaking device with which it could blend into its surroundings
and avoid detection. A door on the ship's side slid open and a ramp
extended to the ground.
Samrong, Fury, and the Six Eyes walked down the ramp accompanied by Gray Ninjas.
They looked to the East at the city below them. Samrong smirked.
"Pathetic. I'll be happy to wipe this place off the face of the
Earth." The Garai Tai continued walking until they came to a large
wall of rock.
"It's a dead end," said Rex. Samrong walked over to the wall and
held the Three Keys in his hand. They began to glow and hovered in the
air. Suddenly, the wall shuddered and a hidden door slid open.
"It isssss jussst assss I remember it," Spyder remarked. The
group headed inside the cave and took note of a long, winding stairway leading
down into the darkness. The Gray Ninjas walked in front of Samrong
carrying torches to light the way. Fury looked around at the ancient
walls. "Abandon hope, all ye who enter here," he muttered.

"I don't care if he's busy, I need to speak with General Takawa of Beijing!
This is not a joking matter!" General Vance "Rampage" Johnson
yelled into the phone as he sat at his desk. After a few seconds, he said,
"Thank you. I will. Of course." Rampage put his hand
over the speaker and whispered to his Lieutenant (who sat across from the
General). "I'm on hold, but I was told I'd speak to Takawa
'momentarily.'" A hint of sarcasm left his voice at the end of his
last sentence.
Lieutenant Joseph Teller sighed. For years, he and Rampage were best
friends. They had been through hell together. Now their next mission
would be the most dangerous, and no one was willing to listen to reason.
"So they don't believe that an evil cult is trying to resurrect an ancient
kaiju, but they know that kaiju walk among us everyday?" he said to
Rampage, who simply rolled his eyes and nodded. Suddenly Rampage sat up in
his seat. "Hello, General. Yes, nice to speak to you, too.
Hmmm? Yes, my wife is doing just fine. Uh huh. Listen, Takawa,
I've got something to tell you. You might not like what I'm about to say..."

The Green Jester touched down just outside of Beijing. The Agents had to
be quiet about this mission. They entered Chinese airspace quite
illegally, and if caught would be in a hell of a lot of trouble with the
government. Deathwing flew out of the jumbo jet and searched the area.
He noticed a large rocky cliff face to the North. "Guys, I see
something up ahead!" he yelled as he sped off to the earthly structure.
Ness, Shadow, UG90, GWB, G64 and Fudge began walking to Deathwing's location.
"Everyone notified their kaiju?" GWB asked. "You know, just
in case something... happens." The others nodded. "I told
the other agents to remain in radio contact in case we need back-up. Let's
hope it doesn't come to that," replied G64.
