Bio: A construction project in Tokyo Bay disturbed the site where the
first Godzilla was destroyed by Dr. Serizawa's Oxygen Destroyer. The terrible
weapon had caused a colony of Precambrian crustaceans lying dormant in the
sediment to revive. These creatures soon began to gather, combining into ever
larger and more complex forms, even attacking Tokyo in a massive swarm of
man-sized creatures. In an effort to prevent Godzilla's meltdown, an event which
it was feared could actually destroy the world, the UNGCC tried to lure Godzilla
to Tokyo to fight the rampaging Destroyah in the hopes that Destroyah would kill
Godzilla before the meltdown could occur. Towards this end, Godzilla Junior was
lead to Tokyo by the psychics Meru and Miki Saegusa. Junior battled Destroyah,
barely defeating the monster. But Destroyah was soon back, in an even larger and
more terrible form. The monster attacked Godzilla Junior even as he strode
towards the elder Godzilla at Haneda Airport. Dropping Godzilla Junior from a
great height, Destroyah left the young monster for dead and returned its
attention to Godzilla. The battle was lengthy and terrible, Godzilla attacking
the fiend with a fury he had never exhibited before. At the same time, the evil
Destroyah savaged Godzilla relentlessly, breaking away from the fight only to
return with a renewed power and savagery. In the end, Godzilla blasted the evil
beast with a terrible beam of atomic fire. Trying to flee, the mortally wounded
Destroyah was apparently brought down by the weapons of the JSDF's Super X-3
attack plane. However, Destroyah was not truly defeated, several small
crustaceans managed to survive and began to multiply. The crustaceans secluded
themselves in Tokyo Bay until their numbers were great enough for Destroyah to
be reborn. Destroyah's next appearance was during the Battle Royale ARena where
he fought many kaiju, including Megalon and Gigan. Destroyah held his own in
battle and defeated Megalon and severly wounded Gigan, although Destroyah did
have an alliance with GMK Godzilla during that battle. In the Survivor ARena
Destroyah joined the Titans and waited patiently for his match. Destroyah's
opponent was Aqua Mothra, who fought bravely and managed to win the match.
Determined to fight again Destroyah awaits the chance to terrorize the
opposition in the next ARena...
