Bio: The menacing cyborg creation of the Nebula Space Hunter M cockroaches, Gigan is an unstoppable kaiju, ready to tear apart his opposition.  When he first encountered Godzilla, Gigan was driven back to space with his compatriot King Ghidorah.  Possessing immense fighting power, Gigan was stopped only by the combined forces of Godzilla, Anguirus, and the pesky humans.

        Gigan made a return engagement less than a year later, teaming up with Megalon to once again battle his foe.  However, he was yet again beaten thanks to Godzilla and an Ultraman-wannabe.  Time has taken its toll on the cyborg's mind, and the villainous beast is ready to strike again!

        Almost thirty years after Gigan's second defeat, he was found severely rusted from lack of use by Gojira64.  The young man decided that Gigan would be a great addition to his plan for conquering the kaiju arena arranged by the monster Bagan, and fixed Gigan up for the coming battles.

        In his first fight in three decades, Gigan once again teamed up with Megalon and battled the threat of a rebuilt MechaGodzilla, last used in 1975.  The duo successfully defeated the robot menace and immediately afterward got into a battle with the GMK Godzilla, a conglomerate of spirits from World War II, and Destoroyah, the monster whose creator had killed the first Godzilla. Severely weakened by their first battle, Megalon succumbed to Destoroyah and retreated back to Seatopia.  Left with no other option then to fight two kaiju, Gigan was defeated.

 Soon after his first ARena defeat, Gigan was up and running again.  He developed a taste for popcorn, and also joined the first ever ARena faction, the Juggernauts, along with Barugon, Fire Rodan, Gamera, and Mothra.

       In his first singles competition, Gigan lost to Gamera when a building toppled over on him, knocking Gigan out.  Not one to quit, Gojira64 sent Gigan into more battles, where he started a winning streak.  First he took out his former ally Megalon in a close battle.  Then Gigan sent GINO scampering away in fear.  After that, he defeated Megalon yet again.

       In the Survivor Series ARena, Gigan advanced to the second round when his opponent Kumonga didn't show up.  While waiting for the next round of the tournament to begin, Gigan defeated Showa Godzilla in a tough contest of brute force.

       In his team mate Mothra's World Kaiju Arts Tournament, Gigan defeated Manda and advanced to the semifinals, where he would once again meet Showa Godzilla. In another tough battle, the two kaiju wound up using their avatars as weapons, but Gigan once again emerged as the victor, moving on to the finals of the WKAT. In the final round, Gigan fought a difficult battle with Megaguirus, but the insect's avatar's heart wasn't in the fight. Even though Gigan won, it was not a satisfying victory.

        In random exhibition battles, Gigan fought with the likes of Heisei Godzilla and GMK Ghidorah. In the first battle, he beat Godzilla senseless. In the second, Gigan barely lost to Ghidorah's power in a colossal battle.  In a tournament of sorts pitting the Juggernauts against the Dark Knights, Gigan defeated Gabara in a bloody bout, giving the Juggernauts the victory.

Powers/ Abilities: 
The cyborg creation of an alien civilization, Gigan is designed for close-combat. Gigan's claws are huge metal hooks, capable of battering and ripping the toughest foe. Set in Gigan's abdomen is a spinning buzzsaw, a terrible attack able to slice through even Godzilla's scaly hide. Gigan is also able to fly at speeds of Mach 3 without any wings (jet propulsion, perhaps?) and can travel even faster through the vacuum of outer space in a gem-like form, aka the Diamond Star, a term coined by Gojira64.
