What's Been Happenin'
It has been three years since Tails has died. Sonic and his friends buried in a nearby cemetery. They went back to doing what they normally did before the great battle. Though it probably wasn't that great, they called it that because that battle changed their lives forever. Warp Darkmatter, the one who helped Tails in the Great Battle, hasn't been seen since Tails died. He wasn't at Tails' funeral either. Sonic renamed Tails' workshop and called it Sonic's workshop, but Knuckles said he shouldn't call it that because Sonic always made Tails do all the work, though Sonic actually did stuff. Nobody knows what, but he does stuff in a secret room. They went to the place Tails described in his journal where he lost his pendant, but they couldn't find a trace of it. Orion Jedg, however, stayed with Sonic and friends, and became a new member of the group. She heals everyone when something happens, like after they went into battle. Now everyone says Knuckles is the new Tails, but Sonic says Orion is the new Tails. Now it is three years later, at New Year's Eve, everyone is setting up for a party. Now the story begins...

Sonic:*yells from inside* Now who's stupud?
Knuckles: You are! You spelled stupid wrong!
Sonic: No I didn't...oh, I guess I did.
Orion: Shutup, you guys are always fighting! If Tails was here, you wouldn't be fighting!
Sonic: Yes we would! We would be fighting Tails!
Orion: Well..uh..you...uh...SO!*runs back in workshop*
Sonic: Finally got her to shutup.
Knuckles: She never talks!

Warp: Well, I, uh, can't.
???: Why not?
Warp: Because he died a few years back.
???: What? He wasn't supposed to die yet! He was supposed to die 3 years from now. That kid never was too bright.
Warp: What about the missing pendant? Will that affect the spell?
???: Yes, but we can deal with that. Now show me to his grave!
Warp: Um, no one knows where that is. Everyone forgot about him but us.
???: Well, maybe this will help us find him.*takes out a glowing red pendant* This will show us where he lies! But we must hurry! It is almost next year, the spell cannot work after midnight!
Warp: Yes my lord.

???: Is that, is that chanting I hear? Stop your chanting!

Warp: Are we there yet?
Tong: No! Now shutup!
Warp: Hey I just thought of something!
Tong: What now?
Warp: Why don’t we use that mindless Tails back there to do our work?
Tong: That’s not an awful idea! Come. We must go get Tails.
Warp: Have you ever thought what would happen if Sonic and his friends see him?
Tong: Nothing will happen.
Warp: But wouldn’t they go a little crazy about seeing a dead person?
Tong: You would think that wouldn’t you? But I have done some research, nothing will happen.
Warp: Oh good. ‘Cause there they are now.
Warp points to where they left Tails, but Tails was nowhere to be found. Just looked like a dug up grave, and some footprints.
Knuckles: Huh? Look over there!
Sonic: That’s Warp! And that’s the guy I saw Tails with before they started attacking me. Don’t know his name though.
Tong: I am the Fight Master Tong. I have trained your Tails friend, and Warp. I know many moves, and with this new pendant I found while on vacation, add to my powers.
Orion: That’s the pendant Tails had!
Knuckles: And your point is?
Orion: Nothing, I just haven’t said something in a while.
Sonic: What do we do know?
Knuckles: We can fight him, ask questions about why Tails’ grave is dug up and why he is nowhere to be found, or we can go home.
Tong: Tell us why you are here!
Sonic: Ok, fine.

Sonic: Stupid Rose Parade. It’s always on every channel.
Knuckles: Why don’t you just watch it then?

Sonic: Because it is so stupid. Do we have anything to eat?
Knuckles: Nah, just milk and meat from 1984.
Sonic: Let’s go to the store then.

So, they left the house to go to the store, because they needed a little more. They took a shortcut through the cemetery, though they weren’t very merry.
Knuckles: Hey! Narrator guy! Shut up!
Fine, I will shut up.
Orion: Blah blah blah blah blah blah!
Orion points to a nearby grave.
Knuckles: That’s Tails’ grave, but why is there no Tails in it?
Sonic: I don’t know.
Knuckles: Huh? Look over there!

The ground began to rumble fiercely, until finally it began to open up. A tall figure appeared, holding a staff like deaths, he wore a brown cloak, with a rope around his chest and back, carrying peoples thoughts. ~New music starts
Koth: Well hello.
Sonic: Who is that guy?
Tails: I know.
Sonic: What! Well this just gets more puzzling. Tails, what are you doing here? And how come you aren’t dead?
Tails: Everybody keeps calling me Tails, so I will stick with that. That right there is Koth.
Warp: If you couldn’t remember your own stupid name, how could you remember his name?
Tails: He’s the keeper of thoughts, stupid; he chooses what I remember and what I don’t.
Knuckles: Right.
Orion: He’s evil I tell you, EVIL! Sorry, I haven’t said anything in a while. Elemental Blast!
Orion charged all the elements into one huge blast aimed at Koth, but Koth started to twirl around his staff, really fast, it was going so fast it acted like a mirror shield. It was deflected back at Orion.

Koth lifted out a card bearing Orion’s picture in the middle. He put the card up to his head and it slowly began to sink in.
Koth: Now! Attack them!

Koth: Shut up Tong! I am in control now!
The card with Orion’s picture on it began to slowly appear on his head, when it was off, he took it back to where he got it from.
(A/N)Due to unpopularity, I am stopping this fan fic, any who oppose, please notify me. I would have stopped before, but I wanted to go out with a bang, even though I don’t know if you call this battle a bang. Sorry for all those who liked this story.

Sonic: That is just sick.
Koth: How else am I supposed to control minds? I shouldn’t have said that, I should not have said that.
Sonic: We need to get that bag where he keeps everybody’s thoughts, and then maybe we can beat him.
Knuckles: Wow, you’re smart Sonic.
Sonic: Thanks.
Knuckles:*eye roll*
Sonic began to charge Koth at full speed, ready to pull that bag out of his hand. Tong was still yelling at Koth, and Koth was searching for Tong’s thoughts.
Tong: You should never forget this tip. Always surprise the enemy.
Sonic: *Grabs bag* Surprise!
Koth: What? You think you can get away from me? Think again! Thought Disorder!
Sonic:~He really needs to think up new names for his attacks. I must get this bag away from Koth. Wait, I must take this bag to Koth.~

Sonic turned around and started to hand the bag to Koth.
Orion: Sonic, what do you think you’re doing?! Bring the bag to us!

Instead of Koth going back into the ground, he charged at Tails. Except when he got to Tails, instead of him doing an attack, he went inside him.

Koth: Ah, I see you have discovered the door.
Tails: What is this “door?”
Koth: It holds all your past moments. All your memories with Sonic. All your memories with the Hunters. Everything you have ever felt or touched or saw is behind this door. And I hold the only key.
Tails: Give me that key!
Koth: *laughs* You think you have a chance against me? I wiped you out in one move last time. And you don’t have any friends or anything to help you. Your mind is still as empty as it was when you were born.
Tails: Do you have to give a speech every time you talk? Hey! What do you mean my mind is empty?
Koth: Look around. Look at how spacious it is. Doesn’t it seem a bit, empty, compared to some of your friends? *pulls out a card* This is Sonic. And this is his mind. * the picture of Sonic began to fade, but in its place a brain came into view* Look at this. You can’t fit anything more in here. Sonic knows more than he even knows.
Tails: It is only empty because it was like I was being reborn again. And plus, my entire mind is over there! Now give me that key! Music starts~

Sonic: Maybe it has something to do with when Koth went inside Tails. Shouldn’t we help him?
They all turn to Orion.
Orion: What? What are you looking at? Just because my cobra-head staff has magical healing powers, doesn’t mean I will heal Tails.
Sonic: Do it!
Orion: All right, all right.
She puts her staff up to Tails. The staff shone a bright green, then a dark red. Then it finally stopped lighting and went back to normal.
Orion: Please note; I won’t be able to do that for a while, and Tails is not fully recovered. He will never be the same again.
Sonic: Is that a good thing, or a bad thing?
Warp: He’s evil I tell you, EVIL!!!!!!!
Knuckles: What makes him so evil?
Warp: Sorry, I just haven’t said anything in a while.

Sonic: Ok, what was that all about, Tails?
Tails: Um, well, I was thinking to myself, the way I always do, when I find this door in my mind. I tried to open it, but then Koth appeared. We had fight, I failed. Again.
Knuckles: Ok. Looks like all our problems are solved.
Warp: Hey, Tong, we need to get out of here. Let’s get Tails and go. I have located another so-called “chosen one.”
Tong: It can wait. Plus, I don’t know what the keeper of thoughts did to Tails, but if he is that easily to kill, we don’t need him. Look at how easily they killed him before.
Warp: True. So what should we do?
Sonic: Uh, Warp, Tong, we can hear from over hear.
Warp: So what, it’s not like we are planning to forget Tails and get out of here and go look for the chosen one.
Tong: Shut up, you idiot! Koth! Get here this instant!
Koth: What, what, what?!
Tong: Fight them! Obliterate them!
Koth: I told you, I do not take orders from you! You take orders from me! You get them!
Tong: Fine I will! Music starts

The whole field went dark, nobody could see anything. But out from the darkness, came 100 flying creatures with red eyes, and attacked all of them.

Koth: So what, they will be back later, with their chosen one, mumbo jumbo.
Tails: Tell us all you know about this chosen one.
Koth: Give me a reason why I should help you?
Knuckles: Sonic will help you in your errands.
Koth: Deal.
Sonic: What?! I’m not going to do that! Tell me why I should!
Knuckles: *inaudible voice*
Sonic: *inaudible voice*
Knuckles: Ok now?
Sonic: Yes.
Koth: All right then. What they told me, is in ancient times, a warrior, name is unknown at this time, was born. He was the oddest of sorts, and had a strange mind. He had hardly any friends and was hard to fit in. One day, he inherited a strong power, able to defeat any warrior. He lost his only friend from having all that power and never to fight. His friend, who archaeologists later found out his name was Shogo, challenged him to a match to the death. It was an intense battle, and Shogo came out being the winner. No one knows how he did, since the warrior was able to defeat anybody. He died later, but only his body died, and his spirit lives on. His spirit is reborn every century, the last one being 3 years ago.
Sonic: Man that was boring. Shogo, that name seems familiar.
Tails: Of course it does. That is his name each time he is reborn.
Orion: If I am still here, how do you know that?
Tails: Tong always talked about him 3 years ago.
Tails: What were you guys doing before this stupid fight happened and the bad guy killed the bad guys, what were you doing?
Knuckles: Weren’t we going to Blockbuster?
Sonic: Yeah, let’s go!
Koth: *catches Sonic* uh uh uh. We have some things to do, people to die-
Sonic: Isn’t that Death’s job?
Koth: No! Now come on.
A hole opens up again in the field. Sonic and Koth begin to go down it.
Sonic: Help...me!!!
Tails: You didn’t help me!
Sonic: It’s not my fault Orion killed you!
Tails’ eyes opened in a jolt.
Tails: Orion killed me? But, my mind failed, I saw a figure...You killed me Koth!
Koth: It’s my job you idiot! And how did you know how you died?
Tails: My card you idiot. It still says I’m dead, and it says the cause. You should have Shogo’s card and the warrior’s card too!
Koth: *laughs* Indeed I do. And I do know the warrior’s name. It is Lazaar.
Sonic: Man, what were his parents thinking?
Koth: Well, they were thinking…shut up, those are private thoughts!
Sonic: And you read their “private thoughts.”
Koth put his hand around Sonic’s neck, and squeezed. He instantly passed out.
Koth: That will keep him quiet.
Knuckles: You need to teach me how to do that.
Scene 11
_____________At Koth’s underground lair_________________
Koth: Welcome to my Underground Lair.
Sonic: This place needs some decorating, it looks awful.
Koth: It’s supposed to be awful! This is an underground place! Look at me! I am like Death!
Sonic: Yeah, but Death lives in the clouds! I saw it on Family Guy.
Koth: That’s a stupid cartoon!
Sonic: So!
Suddenly a guy comes running up behind them.
Guy: Hey, Koth, you know who this guy’s friend is? That’s right, a liar! A Big Fat Liar! *runs away*
Sonic: Not that guy again.

Knuckles: I wonder what ever happened to that guy who called me a liar.
Orion: Shouldn’t we be worried about Sonic?
Tails: Nah, we need to find out who Lazaar is, and whose spirit is revived every century.
Knuckles: He also said that the last one died 3 years ago. He must have been young or something.
Tails: Maybe. Where are we going to get all the things we need?
Knuckles: Quick! To the library!
Tails: Stop trying to sound like batman.

In the corner of the library, Tails and Knuckles stood with there back to one another.
Knuckles: Do you have the jokes?
Tails: Do you have the stuff?
Knuckles: Right here. *hands Tails the box*
Tails: Here you are.* hands Knuckles a list*
Knuckles: Thanks, you saved my life.
Orion: Hey-
Tails: We weren’t doing anything!
Orion: Ok, I found something on them. It even shows the last one that had the spirit. It seems that Shogo’s spirit is being handed down to other people. Here’s a Picture of the last one.

Knuckles: Looks like he got into a bunch of battles, just look at that eye.
Orion: Yeah, he says he was a very good fighter, and had magical powers that only he could unlock. Unfortunately for him, he didn’t know he had a spirit or magical abilities.
Knuckles: That’s all the info I need. __________Back at the graveyard________________________
Tong: Uyh, my head. Warp! Wake up! That stabbing-in-the-back friend of ours stabbed us in the back!
Warp: Ow, my feet.
Tong: What’s wrong with your feet?
Warp: You’re sitting on them!
Tong: Oh, sorry. We must get the chosen one!
Warp: Can’t we call him by his name yet?
Tong: Might as well. We must get Lazaar!
Sonic comes running up in a weird costume.
Sonic: Koth wanted me to give this to you.
Koth: It says, “To Tong and Warp, we are no longer going after Lazaar. We are going to go get Shogo. And don’t forget, I am now the leader of your group thingy! Signed, Keeper of Thoughts” Whatever.
Warp: Are you going to listen to him?
Tong: Of course not. Lazaar is the best one, more powerful, and this stupid pendant will guide me to him.
Warp: Hopefully.

Warp: Hohoh, indeed I can. You always thought I was the weak one, you were the more powerful. I discovered your weakness during our battle with Sonic and the rest. You only know karate and martial arts, and if any some magic moves. You seemed scared of Koth, because your weakness is darkness!!!!!!
Tong: No! Not true! I know many dark and light moves, uh, mostly light moves, but I am scared of Koth. Who wouldn’t be afraid of someone who can alter your mind, command your every move, kill you with the scrunch of a card, and even wipe your every memory, so you won’t even remember simple things such as your name, your relatives, everything will be erased!!!! The only problem with that spell is that the person would gain their memory back in a while.
Warp looked up in a scared manner. He looked as surprised as a person who just got up from the alarm.

Warp has been listening to Britney Spears for a while, when he noticed something from the horizon. He took off the headphones, and went to get a closer look. To his surprise, he only saw the air get blurry.

Then after a few minutes, you die.

As soon as Orion pressed the button, there was a huge explosion. In the explosion, Koth and Lazaar didn’t survive, as Orion guessed, but their bodies were not found, which aroused Orion’s suspicions. Orion didn’t know how she survived, but glad she did. Only that she didn’t find Tails.
Orion: Tails?! Where are you?!
She walked around for a while calling his name.
Orion: I’ve just got to face the facts. Tails is dead…again. *starts to laugh* Tails dead again, that’s just funny! And also extremely sad. Music starts
Orion: He just can’t be dead again! He was on this Earth again for a very short time. I wish him luck in the afterlife.
Sonic: Huh? What happened?
Orion: Sonic! You’re alive! But how?
Sonic: I felt this strange tingling feeling in me a few moments ago.

Down, down, down went Shogo and Tails. After a while Tails hit the ground.
Tails: Ow, I really got to stop landing on my head!
Then Shogo hit the ground, on his legs though.
Shogo: I didn’t feel anything.
There was a man standing over across the room watching them.
Tails: Who’s that?
???: Let me introduce myself. My name is Adrian Farenheight Tepes. You must be Tails and Shogo. I have been waiting for you.
Shogo: Did you say Adrian?
Adrian: Yes, don’t you remember me?
Shogo: Do I? Yes, I do remember, Adrian, I haven’t seen you in a long time!
Adrian: I prefer to be called by my other name!
Shogo: Yeah, but then people will know who you are!

As they walked in the coliseum, Tails noticed it looked similar to the coliseum on CastleVania: Symphony of the Night.
Shogo: What’s in here?
Adrian: You shall see.
Tails looked up at this ring type thing that looks like the Aztec calendar. It started to open. After the first door, there was another that opened, and another, and another, until it finally came open. It was purple dark inside the door, and a figure jumped down from it. Tails couldn’t see much of it, as it landed in the shadows, but it looked like it was changing.
Tails: I think there’s something over there.
Adrian: And so it begins.
Adrian teleported into a chair located at the side middle of the coliseum. The figure then stepped out of the shadows.
Shogo: It looks like… me?

Tails was sucked into the purple place. He stopped there. There was no opening, and the portal was closing.

Scene 20
Shogo ran all through the coliseum looking for an exit. Shogo, realizing there was no exit, picked up Adrian by the neck.
Shogo: Show me the exit!
Adrian: There! There!
Adrian points at another opening, next to the door that Tails went through, only this one was lighter.
Shogo: Take me through it before this place blows!
Adrian: Very well. Take me with you though.
Shogo: Fine, considering you were my friend.
Adrian raised a staff that was hidden in his cloak. They began to rise up through the door on the ceiling that was opening.

Tong: It’s nice that we finally get a break. A spring break to be exact.
Warp: Just because it’s the spring and we’re on a break doesn’t make it a spring break.
Tong: Eh, shut up.
The kept walking along a grass field. They stopped when they came to a patch of dirt.
Tong: Eh? What’s this?
Warp: It looks like a patch of dirt.
Tong put his hand on the dirt.

Tong looked at the edge. It was glowing dark blue. The light was going towards the middle in a pattern, making a kind of picture.

They hid in some nearby bushes. Shogo emerged from the hole on a platform. He was striking his pose. His eyes opened suddenly. He looked around. He started to walk east.

Shogo has just woken. He was weak, but he stood. He was in a cage, a pretty hard cage, but he had to learn that the hard way. Outside the cage was a dome, all white, you couldn’t even see any cracks to where the door was. Shogo took out his Bandit Sword and began to whack away at the cage. He whacked away at it for a good half hour, until someone came in.
??? : You won’t break that cage. It cannot be broken.
Shogo: Lazaar… What do you want with me?
Lazaar: It’s very simple. But I’m not gonna tell!
Shogo: Yes you will.
Lazaar: You win this round. Tong! Warp! Get in here!

As they walked, the sky kept getting darker and darker. Sonic looked at his watch. It was noon. He had a bad feeling about this. It was getting colder.
Orion: We’re here. The Castle of Lost Souls.
The castle had a basic castle shape, only this one had the Castle split down the middle. One half was Yellow, and the other was Dark Black.
Knuckles: Please tell me we’re entering the yellow side of the castle?
Orion: Sorry. We’re not going in that side.
The entered the dark side of the castle, and they were instantly attacked by a group of people.
Bandit: You must leave this place!
Theif: Don’t worry- we’ll help you leave! Music Starts

Bandit’s party moves first!

Scene 22 Music Starts
Sonic: Tell me where Knuckles is! I want to know!

Tails was looking around the room, trying to find the figure that was speaking to him. Having no luck, he asked him.
Tails: Show yourself you coward!
Voice: Me? coward? If anyone’s the coward here, you are! You left Shogo down in hell, while you were getting out of there. You were trying to escape the horrors of re-death! If you were truly brave, you would get Shogo out of there, risking your own life.
Tails was furious at the words said by him. He caught a glimpse of him, and charged to him, his right fist ready for the punch. The figure was ready for him, and raised his hand, using magical powers to block the attack. The hand had gloves on. Looking at the hand, instead of punching, he grabbed him out of his hiding place.
Tails: You?! What are you doing here?!
Scene 23 Voice: So you finally figured it out.
Tails: So that’s where you’ve been. Why did you do what you did, Dark Tails?
Miles: Just call me Miles. If you hadn’t been so weak we could have finished Sonic and the world off! But you had to die by that wimpy Rah spell.
Tails: You’re the one who made me do that to Sonic! You’re the one who’s gonna pay!
Miles: But my dear me, I did have a point. Aren’t you always tired of not getting noticed? To have no one to talk to but me!? Aren’t you tired of getting a portion of the spotlight instead of the whole thing?! You needed attention, and you knew it!
Tails: All I needed was a friend! Not one like Sonic who’s never serious! You enslaved my body, and killed me! If it weren’t for you, I would still have that portion of the spotlight and not the whole deathlight!
Miles: Deathlight?
Tails: The biggest death of 2002. Get over here!
Tails wants to fight!
