my name is matthew kemp twentey three years ago in the centre of Cardiff I was born. Cardiff was a lovely place to live and I enjoyed it very much because it was very quiet. Nowadays it is nosier than it was when I was a baby. There are more children there. I am the oldest of five children. We moved to Cheadle just before Michelle’s first birthday. Michelle is my sister and she is the second oldest.

My earliest memory was when I was in hospital and I was to have an operation. I was on the bed in the hospital and they gave me anaesthetic to put me to sleep. I fell asleep, then I was pushed into the lift. An hour later, I woke up after the operation in the lift and I thought that I had just fallen asleep instead of being in an operation.

Another memory that I can recall was when I was at a Boxing Day party at my Mum’s friend’s house. Half way through the evening I was playing a game and I ran down the stairs. I forgot that there was a radiator and my arm caught the corner and it went straight through and broke the skin on my arm. The injury was on top of my main vein and I was very lucky not to puncture it. I was very brave and did not cry until they put the needle in my arm to give me a painkiller. I had to have fourteen stitches, and I have still got the scar on my arm today.

I was not happy when I was at primary school because I got bullied all the time. I was very happy at secondary school because I made more friends and people didn’t bully me anymore which made me very happy indeed. There was one teacher I liked very much – called Mrs Lynne Hunt. She was my form tutor and a very best friend too. My favourite subjects were the following: Maths, Information Technology, P.E., French, Art sometimes, Food Technology and sometimes English.

I like to go swimming, go to the pictures, play on my computer and see my friends. I meet my friends in Stockport when I am free. I keep in touch with my friends through my mobile phone and we text each other all the time. All my friends own a mobile phone and we all want to update them as soon as possible. I also contact my friends via e-mail which I have to do from the college computers because I do not have one at home at the moment.

My mum and dad have split up and so only my mum and I now live in Stockport. The rest of my family live the Buxton area. I don't see my dad as much I used to do because my dad does'nt like that way i am. I used to go to my dad’s house in Buxton and used to play games together which I like but now I have not seen my dad for 3 years now and i do miss him but I am not sure if he does.

My Hobbies

I go swimming I play foot ball a lot with my friends I play on my computer games when I am free from doing any house work or working.
