Mini-shrine to Zidane Tribal
I can tell you straight off that this won't be the normal mini-shrine. I won't give you stats about Zidane, tell his deepest secrets, or give help on Trance or his Abilities. Mostly 'cause I have yet to finish the game ^^;;; Nope, I'm just gonna tell you why I like him. If you don't agree with me, then buzz off :P
First off, how can you NOT like him in some way? The dude's cute! Resist this face, I dare ya!
*ahem*
Mushy girl stuff aside, Zidane is powerful in the game. Granted, he's the lead male, but still. One example of his strength I'm gonna give is an account from a Boss battle of mine.
Remember that boss....Soulcage, I believe....at the bottom of the Iifa Tree? Am I the only one that had trouble with him? I mean, I was at a pretty good level but my characters were getting floored every couple turns! Thank god for Curaga...and Phoenix...and Blizzara...*blink* I'm off track ^^;;
The fight had dragged on for a good handful of minutes, and it looked like no end was coming soon. And I was running out of Phoenix Downs. But then, Zidane entered Trance! This was my chance! I quickly picked his strongest ability at the time (the name slips my mind...it has something to do with a twister) and cast it. It did 3000+ damage on Soulcage, bringing a Mist-less end to the demon tree-thing. Whee, I had won ^^ And it was thanks to Zidane.
Back to romantic-type stuff. But only for a moment, I swear!
For me, Zidane is a character who you wish you knew. He's kind, cute, funny as hell, and all around warm. He does have his cold, distant moments (*koff*BarInAlexandriaDisc3*koff*) but those usually melt away pretty soon (pining over Dagger, anyone?). With me he's usually a "tug-at-the-heartstrings" character. Him and Vivi and Freya. But this page isn't about Vivi or Freya :P
Uhm, I'm running out of things to say without repeating myself xX;;; I'll end up adding more things to this page soon, most likely starting off with quotes and such (jotted down on repeat run through the game, naturally). ^^;; Guess that's it for now, then!
