Finding Nemo - Movie Review

Finding Nemo

cover

Finding Nemo is the story of a clown fish named Marlin (Albert Brooks) who's quest was to find his son Nemo (Alexander Gould). Nemo's father was overprotective of him since his mother died and Nemo was born with a small fin. In an attempt to prove his worth on the first day of school, Nemo swims out past the drop off and is caught by a diver. Marlin decides to head off and save his son. Along the way he gets help from a fish named Dory (Elen DeGeneres), a Sea Turtle called Crush (Andrew Stanton) and three sharks. Nemo along with help from his friends has to survive the dangers of the ocean such as jellyfish, whale sharks, strong currents, etc. in order to save his son.

This movie was surprisingly good. It is supposed to be a kids movie, but I found it very entertaining. The Animation was great, as Pixar always is, and the music went well with the movie. The movie has a good plot and the ocean makes a very interesting setting. The sub plot in the dentist's office was also very well done, I thought. I have enjoyed other Pixar creations suchs as Toy Story and Monsters Inc, so if you enjoy these kind of films check this movie out.

Marlin and Dory Ride shell dude!
