Bruce Almighty

Bruce Nolan (Jim Carey) is a news reporter down on his luck. One day God (Morgan Freeman) decides to give Bruce all his power to see how he likes it. For the first week Bruce uses it only to enhance is own career and relationship with his girlfriend, Grace Connelly (Jennifer Aniston). Bruce eventually learns, after many hillarious antics, that being God is not all its cracked up to be.

This movie was pretty funny, I don't think it was Jim Carey's best. I thought they could have taken the idea a little further. Some of the special effects were pretty funny. My girlfriend especially liked the part when the guy was commentating and Jim Carey, with God's powers made him talk in a funny way. My favourite part is before the love scene Jim Carey is wearing clothes and they just shoot off his body. Overall not the best comedy ever, but a pretty entertaining 2 hrs.
