The movie starts off with some animal rights acitivist who go to this spooky animal testing centre to release some chimps. They find a doctor who tells them that the monkeys are infected with a virus called rage, he tells them not to release them, but they are stupid and don't listen and they release the monkeys which spreads a virus throughout Britain. The main character Jim (Cilliam Murphy) wakes up in a hospital after an accident. He walks around London and there are no people there. He goes to a church where there are many corpses and some zombie like people chase him. He is saved be Selena (Naomie Harris) and her friend Mark. Selena fills Jim in on how the virus was released. Jim travel's with Selena until he meets Mr Bridges (Alexander Delamere) and his daughter(Kim McGarrity). Mr. Bridges heard a radio announcement saying some soldiers had survived and they were looking for people. They travel by car to find the soldiers, getting attacked by zombies many times along the way. The movie ends after the events that happen when they meet the soldiers.

I thought this was the best movie I've seen all year. It was very artfully done. The cinematography was awesome, many of the scenes I thought were paintings and rain effects were used very well. The music was also very well done, and really reflected the mood of the movie. I thought it was very scary and thought provoking and much better than your average horror. I've read some reviews on IMDB and it seems like a bunch of nitpickers found the movie bad because of some of the goofs. I didn't really notice any of the mistakes and I was more concentrating on how good the movie was so I thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't have any expectations going into this movie and it surprised me by being so good. This movie deserves the best movie of the year award in the hall of fame.

Where is everybody? Jim - nice hair cut
