Terrorist Cs_Assault Strategy
The Terrorists have a definate advantage in this map, this explains some of them, and more!!!
ADVANTAGES TO USE
While playing as a Terrorist, your job is to "protect" the hostages from being resced by the Counter-Terrorists. This includes the ability to camp. Not having to run into a heavily guarded place is really advatageous. Thats the Counter-Terrorists job. In other words, dont put your self in more danger than needed. I've seen Terrorists run out into the open at Counter-Terrorists, and get slaugtered. This is what the Counter-Terrorists want you to do! They guard most exits HEAVILY as many of you have found out.
GOOD PLACES TO GO
#1 Guarding the largest entrance should be a high class objective to all Terrorists. If you see the large red front opening ungaurded, either get someone to guard it, or do it yourself. If possible(in know it is hard to get people to cooperate in this game) try and get 2 or 3 people to guard the front and back doors.
#2 The vent should also be guarded. One or two people are needed for this. If risky, you can go into the vent, go up to the area that leads to the Hostages, and wait.** This works a lot, and fails a lot. A server which friendly fire is turned on isn't a good idea to do this because Terrorists like to throw HE grenades in the vent. The blast will of course hurt you(happens to me).
**ONLY A GOOD IDEA IF A SHOTGUN OR AK47 IS PRIMARY WEAPON, AND YOU HAVE BROADBAND**
#3 There are large crates at the back of the building. These cover the back door exit. There is a nook in the crates that is made because some crates are wider than the others. This makes an okay sniping positon because it is able to cover the vent, and front entrance.
#4 The crates in the far corner of the building that are only accessable by jumping off the catwalk is an excellent place to cover the back door. Counter-Terrorists will return your fire from the front entrance though, so beware.
#5 Adding more to my #1, guarding the front entrance can be done by the crates(in #4), from the second level, or from right next to the entrance. The incline that leads to some scattered small crates is a good place to lay down some fire upon the approaching Counter-Terrorists.
#6 There is a series of electronic equipment next to the hostage room doors. The "computer" looking things are actally cameras. Approaching one, and pressing the activate command (default key is "E") you can view 3 different angles. You are still completely succeptable to fire when looking into these.
