Final Fantasy Quest Information

Here in this page you will find necessary information about this RPG. Such as a summerized History, Iniformation about important aspects of the world (Like Sky Pirates) and a kick start into the game itself.

Everything on this page is required in order for you to play. This does not really mean your character has to know everything about the world. (You could be a country bumpkin, and know nothing about Sky Pirates or even Air Ships... after all. What your character knows is up to you.)
History Air Ships Chocobos Story

World History

Air Ships

Air Ships are the major form of transportation, for both people and goods. Large and bulky, they use steam-engine proppelors and/or large balloons. Though they may often seem lopsided, they can go from one place to another in much less time than an ordinary ship or most anything that travels on land.

With the popularity and abundant use of the air ship, Sky Pirates were born. Renegades of normal society, they live by their own laws (with a little help of their plundered loot, to boot.) Sky Pirates make their own Air Ships, more often then not, and raid Air Ships that carry things of value, or interest. A nomadic type of people that never really stay in one spot, they move from place to place with their ship. People fear Sky Pirates greatly, and few would think to give them problems when their in 'port'. Though Sky Pirates never show them when raiding another ship, most have their own designation symbol (usualy embroidered on a flag...) to recognize that particular group by. Some few groups of Sky Pirates have become quite famous, indeed.

Chocobos!

Possibly the strangest creature in all the land of Final Fantasy Quest, is the Chocobo. They come in a variety of types and occupy many places! Different types of Chocobos are good for different types of things... even so far as having their own powers. By far the strangest of all creatures...
  • Normal - A yellowish Chochobo. Though they don't seem to be able to do much special, these type can be found anywhere in the world. Yep, anywhere. It's something you can safely count on! Super friendly, they love to give people rides, so they're not hard to tame.
  • Black - The Black Chocobo is a little less friendly, and far less common. This Chocobo is the only one known to be able to fly... and it does it very well! It can fly even when someone is on it's back, with no loss of maneuvarabillty or even speed, making it a very worth while Chocobo to have around... assuming you can tame it.
  • Red - An extremely rare Chocobo. Though this guy can look cute, he is extremely aggressive. Not friendly even in the slightest. To have a tamed Red Chocobo is a prize indeed (Especially since you'd likely be the only one.) Out of all the known Chocobos, these are known to be the most vicious fighters among them.
  • White - The White Chocobo is the rarest of all Chocobo, bar one. A Chocobo that has not been tamed since the days of ancients. Said to be fiercely loyal to their masters, this Chocobo has unnusual magical abillities.
  • Gold - Legendary... this Chocobo has not been seen for thousands of years. Every bit as intelligent as a human (Smart humans, that is.) It looks just like an average Chocobo in every bit... except at times it appears to sheen with a golden hue in the sunlight. Though most of this is old Fairy Tale type stories, as no one has seen one in so long...
Story/Beginning the Game

Quite plainly put, players have an almost entirety of free rein on what to do. However this does not mean there is no story to follow. For, quite the opposite, there is much story to follow. How you follow and from which direction will be left to you. There are multiple points from which to start with, that are here to help you get into the game. The most major starting point set to help you is the Wanted Ad.

-Help Wanted-
