Job Classes

Welcome to the Job Class section of FFQ, herein you will find information on all available, and some not available, Job Classes found within this game. Job Classes are not quite what the name implies. They are not necessarily the work you do to make a living, but more appropriatly, say what it is you can do. They shape your character, but only to a certain extent. This will not decide everything your character can do, for each person is unique and individual. Obviously your character will have more personalized abillities at his/her disposal.

It shall be noted now that some Job Classes are completely restricted for regular player use and can only be chosen with the GMs permission.

If you have come to chose a Job for your starting character, than remember you are given only forty Job Points upon which to buy your class with. The following information will help you better understand the Jobs you will be looking through.

Cost: This is the amount of Job Points it will cost you to purchase this Job. Remember, you are given forty Job Points to start with, and these are not the only use of Job Points. Do not simply chose a Class because it may be powerfull or rare. All Jobs are equal, in their own right.
Area: Some Jobs can be found all over the world, while other Jobs can only be found in remote parts of it. This explains exactly where the Job can be found, where it originates from. If you are of a Job, you must have been to that part of the world, wether you come from there or not.
Appearance: Some Jobs are very common, often beneficial to society. Easily found, these Jobs are no surprise to see. However, there are those few Jobs that are rarely found, and not seen as often, and some fewer Jobs to go so far to the point of rare as to be Legendary. Appearance, when applied in the Job Class section, tells how common (or uncommon) a Job actually is.
Requirements: Each Job has a statistical requirement to be met or your character can not be of that Job. Your statistic rating must be equal to, or greater than, that of the rating listed in the requirement. (i.e. If the requirement is; Vigor - **, than your character must have two *s or more in the vigor statistic.) This means you must have added the required star(s) to that statistic. Leaving a statistic blank means you do not meet the requirement for that job. (i.e. The automatic one star bonus in all statistics do not count to the overall amount of stars required for a Jobs class requirements.)
Modifiers: Each Job has it's own statistical modifier that will effect the overall outcome of the final rating of your score. Though the modifiers are listed, it is not your job to add them to the ratings you have on your form. The GM will do this at a later time during the actual creation of your character's profile. They remain listed here for you for the sole purpose of making you aware that this rating will change by this amount should you choose this Job.
