What Witches Do When They Think Nobody's Looking

This picture happened during one of my favorite gaming moments. I came upon a cabin in the middle of a dark, forbidding forest. I knew it was possibly instant death to just walk in the door of this house, so I saved the game, and then used one of the cool new skills you get in LoH: "Cloak of Shadows", a skill that lets you become invisible for an amount of time, based on your dexterity (Yay, it favors archers, otherwise known as Rogues!). As soon as I was invisible, I threw open the door of the cabin, stepped inside and hit the "Pause" button so that I could examine what was inside just in case my invisibility expired and the baddies inside would kill me fast.

When I realized that the witches appeared to be hugging, I was highly amused. Maybe they are actually square dancing. Whatever it is, witches do appear to have a soft, cuddly side.

I love my Dark Elf and she loves me!

One thing I really like about "The Lands of Hyperborea" is how you have this companion who needs your help, and you find yourself getting attached to her as you travel together. She even helps you as you explore new areas by warning you that some places are too dangerous to go in to. What a wonderful friend she is. So I find myself thinking that I'm really starting to like my Dark Elf a lot. As you can see, she's putting up with me very well, even though she doesn't understand "illogical human emotion" very well.
