Shinato has one of the coolest effects in the game. It's not exactly trample; it's more of a "hit yourself while in defense" type...thing. Yea. I need a catchy name for that. Any ideas?
However, since Shinato doesn't have a Trample effect, and instead has..."that" effect, we can abuse it. Fairy Meteor Crush becomes your best friend in this deck. If you attack a Defense position GAF with Shinato equipped with FMC, you can deal 5600 damage. From that one attack. That's insane.
BEWD is in this deck for the sole purpose of getting Shinato out quickly. 8* is pretty hard to pull off for a Ritual and is EXTREMELY bad hand management, so it's almost a necessity that you have a monster that is great Shinato bait.
The rest of the cards seem out of place. Tsukuyomi? Book of Moon? Enemy Controller? Well, they all have a VERY important effect; they can switch an opponent's monster into face down defense, and since Shinato's effect doesn't kick in unless the monster he attacks is in Defense, we want to make sure that the monsters your opponent uses stay in Defense. Shinato alone is scary, but Shinato with Trample and a forced Defense lock is horrifying. As it is, Shinato is the strongest ritual in the game, attack wise, and to top it off he has one of the better effects in the game.
