Valkyrion decks are hard to use. First, all of the necessary cards are promos (old promos, may I add). Second, the deck requires combos; you constantly need to combo the cards you have into successful moves, moreso than other decks. This deck requires one basic combo that makes it really good. Summon Valkyrion by using the three pieces(whether they be in your hand or on the field), sacrifice Valkyrion to summon the three pieces from the graveyard, and monster reborn Valky. If you have another Valky in your hand, then you can sacrifice the three pieces to summon that one, and monster reborn the other one.
This deck, like Gate Guardian decks, suffer from two basic flaws: both heavy hitters require a hard to obtain circumstance in order to be summoned, and the three monsters required deal more damage together than Valkyrion or Gate Guardian itself.
Valky is much easier to get out though; Giant Rat gets out two of the three pieces, and the same two can also be searched by Sangan or Last Will. Use Giant Rat to your advantage. Suicide it to get either Alpha or Gamma, and get out Valky that way. The main advantages Valky has over GG are that it's pieces are 4* and you can combine them from the hand.
Yes, there's a LOT of monster removal, but that's because Nobleman takes care of the f/d monsters and Smashing Ground takes care of the face up. Valky is extremely situational, and still dies to an Exiled Force, Tribe, etc. You'll want to get the most damage out of him that you can. My Body as a Shield and Solemn Judgment offer protection, but at the cost of a lot of LPs. Use Valkyrion wisely.
Monsters - 19 (2 Tribute, 17 Non-Sacrifice)
Magic/Spells - 13
Traps - 8
