Cheap Tricks - Spellcaster Deck

Yay! Since the last time I updated this deck, Spellcasters have come a long way. Gone are the days of Dark Magician support. Gone are the days of being in the shadow of Warriors and Chaos. Spellcasters ARE the new Chaos, whether you like it or not. Chaos Sorceror is what's being used nowadays, and with the recent support Spellcasters have gotten, offensive Spellcaster decks are very viable themes, and most decks use a few Spellcasters in them.

First things first; Chaos Sorceror virtually forces Spellcasters to be Light or Dark, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as that's what most of them are. There are about five usable Spellcasters that are Earth, Fire, Wind, or Water, so keeping things Light or Dark isn't a problem. As usual, there's a hard time finding enough Lights to feed Chaos Sorceror. In this deck there are 7 Lights and 10 Darks.

Spellcasters have always been defensive based - Apprentice Magician could search for Magician of Faith or Old Vindictive Magician, and you could go from there. With the release of Magician's Circle, I'm a much bigger fan of offensive Spellcasters, using Kycoo, White Magical Hat, and Masked Sorceror to deal damage and gain advantage. The defensive build still works, but I personally prefer Magician's Circle.

The merits of most of these cards are self-explanitory, and aside from the almost purely Spellcaster base, the deck is a basic Chaos deck. Magical Dimension has been released in English, but I'm personally not a big fan of it - it offers hand disadvantage, and more often than not it will be useless to you. You can try it if you want, but I personally don't suggest it.

Monsters - 20 (4 Tribute, 16 Non-Sacrifice)

Magic/Spells - 11

Traps - 9
