Red Eyes Black Dragon Decks have only recently come about with the release of SOD. Red Eyes B. Chick and Inferno Fire Blast have made the deck pretty good, and once Meteor Black Dragon comes out in English, these decks will be even MORE powerful.
Inferno Fire Blast allows you to deal direct damage to the opponent's LP equal to the original attack of one REBD on the field, but then REBD can't attack this turn. REBD has one of the best Fusion sets, as it can form B. Skull Dragon (3200 attack) and once it comes out, Meteor Black Dragon (3500 attack).
Do you see the combo there? Use Inferno Fire Blast, fuse REBD into one of the above fusions, and attack directly with the new monster. Doublecoston is in the deck to sacrifice for REBD, and Red Eyes B. Chick is in for the same reason.
CRV has released a great new support card for Dragon Fusions - Dragon's Mirror allows you to remove Fusion Material monsters from play to summon a Dragon Fusion monster, much like Fusion Gate. However, Dragon's Mirror allows you to remove things from the graveyard as well as the field. Unfortunately it doesn't allow you to remove things from the hand, but it's still a nice support card.
Really though, REBD is worth it for its Fusions. While they aren't the best fusions out there, REBD now has some support, and they are still pretty strong monsters.
