Burnination - Fire Decks

Fire got some sweet support in the past few sets, and almost all of it is easy to obtain, keeping Fire as one of the cheapest competitive decks around (yay!).

ROD especially has some awesome things to offer. Raging Flame Sprite has been sought after for a while. It has a Mucus Yolk effect, but begins with 100 attack. This means that you don't need powerups in order to make this card worthwhile. In this deck, she also gets +500 attack from Molten Destruction, so after one attack she has 1600 attack. To top it all off, she's a common.

Ultimate Baseball Kid has a butchered name, but the effect was kept intact. It gains +1000 for each Fire monster other than itself on your side of the field, AND you can sacrifice a Fire monster to deal 500 Direct Damage to your opponent. You can go Gravity Bind with it as well; it's only level 3.

Gaia Soul the Combustible Collective is powerful. 4*, 2000 attack with Trample, and you can sacrifice Fire monsters to power it up by 1000 each (up to two monsters). That in itself is overpowered and broken...so they added that final sentence. It gets destroyed at the end phase of the turn. Hey, at least it's a nice finisher.

Finally, Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch. This rounds out the Monarch trio (Zaborg, Mobius, and now Thestalos) and this one hits the hand. When its summoned, it randomly discards a card from the opponent's hand. If the discarded card is a monster, deal 100 direct damage for each level it is. The direct damage is just icing on the cake, really. It's a 2400 hand depletor, and with all this Fire support it fits VERY nicely.

Unfortunately, this deck isn't very...stable. You can easily turn it into a Gravity Bind/LLAB Deck, but this is just to show you the support cards. Thestalos and Gaia Soul are STRONG and fit VERY nicely into this deck, so they go into a basic skeleton.

Monsters - 20 (5 Tribute, 15 Non-Sacrifice)

Magic/Spells - 14

Traps - 6
