Dragonic Hybrid

Dragon Hybrids don't interest me too much. However, I was rating a Dragon deck on Pojo and someone asked me to build one...so I basically updated this. It's much better now, IMO.

The first thing you'll probably notice with this deck is that there's a LOT of tribute monsters. However, the cards in the deck should alleviate that problem. Treeborn Frog, two Cyber Dragons, and two Brain Controls will allow you to summon your tribute monsters even if your hand is filled with them.

Chainsaw Insect is in for the same reason as in the Armed Dragon deck - you can use it with Armed Dragon's effect without having it be total deadweight. Mirage Dragon is in to protect your big monsters after you've summoned them, and Masked Dragon/Flying Kamakiri #2 is in to search for Armed LV3. You could probably drop Masked/Flying and the two Armed LV3's for other cards, but I'm going to keep them in this example deck.

For the Magic and Trap cards, the noteworthy ones that come to mind are the Enemy Controllers, the Brain Controls, My Body as a Shield, Ceasefire, Threatening Roar, and Solemn Judgment. Enemy Controller and Threatening Roar are in to work with Treeborn Frog. Not only does Enemy Controller work VERY nicely with the Frog, you can target annoying Spirit Reapers with it to destroy it. Threatening Roar is chainable to a Mobius summon or can be chained to clear your field on your standby phase. Treeborn Frog is a WONDERFUL card for this deck, but the standard traps all get in the way if they're on the field during your standby phase.

Brain Control, as mentioned above, helps alleviate the amount of tribute monsters you have. My Body as a Shield and Solemn Judgment are in to help protect your big monsters once they're out. Ceasefire also helps with Armed Dragon, much in the same way that Chainsaw Insect helps. Armed Dragon's effect only works on face UP monsters, so you'll want to make sure that you can see everything that can be destroyed. It also doubles as Flip Effect protection for Armed and Horus.

Monsters - 18 (8 Tribute, 10 Non Sacrifice)

Magic/Spells - 14

Traps - 8
