This deck uses Flip Effects. A Lot. And really, all you need the first turn is three cards in order to...win. You can deck someone out on the first turn with this deck. It's pretty hard, but not impossible.
I'm not a fan of Vampire Lord in this deck. Yes, it thins your opponent's deck. But only one card at a time. Cyber, Morphing, and Needle Worm all take five cards off the deck. Tsukuyomi allows you to reuse those Flip effects. Over. And over. Book of Taiyou allows you to flip them the same turn you set them.
Don't look at the opponent drawing cards as the opponent getting cards. Instead, look at it as the opponent thinning his deck...once the opponent catches on to this being deck destruction, make a comment every time the opponent draws a card...it's fun ;-)
This deck is built entirely different than most other decks; it's almost entirely defensive. Entirely. Gravity Bind, Level Limit Area B, Morphing Jar #2, Book of Moon...the deck is defensive based. Which means that there's no need for offensive cards like mass m/t removal, or even a lot of monster removal. Just protection and speed.
I don't wanna end this article, because I get the feeling that looking at this deck won't give a lot of people the basic jist. But here it goes anyway:
