Unleashing the Forbidden One

This is an article, simply because there's so many ways to get out Exodia these days. The most common is an Elma Exodia deck, which uses Butterfly Dagger - Elma, Gearfried, and Royal Magical Library to infinitely draw cards(leading of course to drawing all five pieces). The next deck is a Manticore Exodia, which constantly revives Manticore from the graveyard, activating Card of Safe Return's effect and drawing cards until you get all five pieces. Finally, there's old school Exodia, which thins the deck out so you can draw cards faster(such as the five pieces). Do you see a recurring theme? Exodia Decks focus on drawing the cards that you need fast, which happens to be the five pieces.

The first deck I'm going to talk about is Elma Exodia. This deck uses Butterfly Dagger - Elma, Gearfried, and Royal Magical Library to draw infintely. This is pretty easy, since all of the required cards are searchable in some way. Gearfried can be taken from the deck with Reinforcement of the Army, Royal Magical Library can be taken with Shining Angel and Sangan, and Elma can be taken with Iron Blacksmith - Kotetsu. It's fairly simple; get both of those monsters on the field, use Elma on Gearfried, give RML a counter, destroy and get back Elma, rinse and repeat. Whenever RML gets three counters, draw a card. Repeat until you get Exodia and a winnar is you!

The next deck is a Manticore Exodia. This uses the same tactic as Elma; draw repeatedly. Get one Manticore in the graveyard and one on the field. Sacrifice that Manticore for the one in the graveyard, and repeat. As long as Card of Safe Return is on the field, you can draw cards each time Manticore is summoned from the graveyard. Repeat the combo until you have all five pieces of Exodia. Wow, this is a really simple article to write.

The final Exodia deck is an old Exodia; thin your deck out as much as possible with Nimble Momonga, Troop Dragon, Clarity of Mind, Bubonic Vermin, etc. until your deck becomes so thin that you just draw the pieces of Exodia. Again, fairly simple. What makes all Exodia decks so hard is that getting all five pieces is pretty expensive, and running an Exodia deck in a hand depletion environment is very risky.
