Descent of the Dragon - Dragon Deck

Dragon decks are powerful, as they should be. Contrary to popular belief, these decks are not the same as BEWD decks. BEWD decks focus on getting out BEWD fast with cards such as Paladin and Kaiser Seahorse. Dragon decks focus on the Lord of D+Flute combo to swarm the field with powerful monsters.

Before going on with the rest of this article be forewarned; these decks are slightly expensive to make, and the deck I make here won't be complete. There are a lot of Dragon support cards from Legacy of Darkness, none of which I can keep straight. This is also a post-ban deck, meaning none of the banned cards are in it. It's up to you to add the dragon support that you want; but please stay away from Dragon's Rage. It's an overrated card, and even though giving trample to all of your Dragons is nice, you won't have it out too often.

This deck uses some tribute monsters, but again, you won't be sacrificing for them. Lord of D+Flute allows you to special summon two Dragons from your hand - of any level. So not only can you get out a Kaiser Glider or a Tyrant Dragon with Flute; you can get out BOTH Kaiser Glider and Tyrant Dragon with Flute.

You also have strong 4* support; Spear Dragon, which IMO is the second best 1900 available, Luster Dragon, which is just raw power(but unsearchable with Witch, so it loses some brownie points), and Cave Dragon, which again is raw power for Dragon decks. You need no equips; your monsters are extremely strong to begin with. Also, stay away from Mountain. It honestly isn't worth it.

You have three cards left over in order to make it a 40 card deck. You could use Super Rejuvenation, Stamping Destruction, etc. Look on Yu-Gi-Oh Realms' Legacy of Darkness list, and then figure out what you might want to use for those three cards.

Monsters - 19(5 Tribute, 14 Non-Sacrifice)

Magic/Spells - 18

Traps - 3
