Aquazone
A real time and very realistic aquarium simulation. You have to monitor the aquarium pH, temperature, light/dark cycles, feeding, etc. It covers all aspects of aquarium care. The fish are beautiful, and they have realistic lifespans, colors, and even genetics. The only real bad point to the game is that when a fish dies, it's gone. (You can resurrect fish using a user-made program called Fisherman.)
Likes: So real! Even in the genetics. The real lifespans, movements, breeding, and needs are just amazing.
Dislikes: Possibly too real for many gamers. You have to wait for your fish to grow up to breed (unless you have a debug/cheat program), and they do die. You can't copy fish either. When they are dead, they are dead (again, unless you have a debug program).

Availability: Out of print, but can sometimes be found in discount bins or on Ebay. Free demo is available (in French), but doesn't do the game justice. Many add-ons and new items are available in Japanese only.
