Ulysses'
Solution #8

Ulysses: It was White's move, and he has various ways to force checkmate in two moves here. The challenge was to come up with a list of all the moves White could play which would allow him to force mate on the next move.
It turns out there are 8 possible moves that fit
the bill: White can move his queen to either a7, f2, f1, c5, d4, d1, b6 or g5,
allowing
him to force mate on the next move.
