Welcome to meridian, a rpg game, yes its free to play, and this is a rpg server, there and many citys monsters items, spells,weapons,quests, guilds,to get involed with. when you start the game you can be a pure fighter, a mage, or a fighter mage, its all on how you set your starting stats. if you mess up, we will help you with this.this game is similar to everquest. all the admins, known as gods, are friendly hand helpful, ask them anything. we are working on a manual that u can download,but for now, just ask the gods, or other players. download the game, install it, then you will need to edit your hosts file, if you have win 98, goto the msdos promt and goto c:\windows and type edit hosts, add the line: 67.162.187.105 meridian200.aq.com then save, run the game, put in your account and pass, at bottom where it says server, put in 200, and log on. if you have winxp the you can goto the dir c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc and edit the hosts file, as above you select create new player, create your looks and sex, then set your stats, leave the spells tab alone, goto the skills tab, and pick, slash,punch,dodge, and accept that, and your in the game, you can get spells in game, from npcs. to talk type in bar at bottom: say hi , this is to talk to peole on the same screen as you yell hi, is to talk to players in your zone, and any zone just out side that zone. Broadcast hi , everyone in the game world will see this. so, when you first get on, type this: Broadcast hello, i'm new, please tell one of the gods. and a god will contact you, and give you starting gear, and explain things to you, and show you around the main town.
