Being able to climb walls and hang from ceilings really gives this game a huge extra dimension. Also the ability to use shooter-esque bombs, two weapons at the same time, and the speed stages are all great new additions. If you can manage to get to the end on the hardest setting, you fight a new final boss. A tremendous game.

This version has a sound test which I can't even begin to fathom was removed from the USA release.

Stage Select At the mode select screen, press Left, Down, Down/Left, Left, and START in a fluid motion. You should hear a sound if performed correctly.
