General Rules For Survivor: Sri Lanka
1. The rules may be changed at any time without prior warning to the castaways. This rule especially effects all twists and surprises that will occur during this game. Every twist in the style of the game has been carefully planned out ahead of time, and will not be created randomly to show favoritism towards any tribe.

2. Abusive profanity and/or obscene gestures made to damage the image or self-esteem of others are tolerated. This is just a game and there's no need to make it more cutthroat that it already is. Enjoy it and have fun. Now, is this a limitation on your right to free speech? Absolutely not. However please treat the other players with respect.

3. This is only a game, there is no real money issued. Look, this isn't the real show, so if you're expecting a million dollars for winning, you've come to the wrong site. Simply put, the only thing you really win is the title of Sole Survivor.

4. If you do fail to vote in a Tribal Council where you are expected to vote (i.e. your tribe lost the Immunity Challenge) one vote will be cast against you. This is the issued penalty for persons who do not participate in the Tribal Councils or in the game itself. Each time you fail to vote, a vote is cast against you. Remember, there may be times when those votes come back to haunt you.

5. Each castaway will be expected to complete structured interviews when they are given to them, as well as their final words once they are voted out of the tribe. The interviews give me material to use for the episode summaries. Fail to give me anything to use, and the summaries will suck. If you respond to my interviews, keep your confessionals updated, and participate, there won't be a single problem! Furthermore, it will result in a well produced game that both players and host can be proud of.

Structure of Survivor: Sri Lanka
1. Message Boards will be furnished for each one of the tribes as "camps" to discuss their strategy and discuss amongst themselves. Every few days treemail will be dropped off at the camps informing them of challenges or Tribal Councils. Also there will be individual boards assigned to each castaway so that they may reveal their strategies and their private emotions. Treat these personal boards like your round the clock confessionals.

2. Challenges: There are two types of challenges, reward and immunity. Challenges will held on message boards, live AIM chats, or through e-mail. The rewards that can be won will remain a secret until they are actually won by one of the tribes. However I will say this, these are your usual rewards. Winning these Reward Challenges will actually help your team! Immunity Challenges are to see who will have to face the wrath of Tribal Council, where one member of the tribe will be voted out. The winner of the Immunity Challenge is exempt Tribal Council, while the losing tribe must venture onto the rocky cliffs of Sri Lanka's Tribal Council and remove one of their own.

3. Tribal Councils: The Tribal Councils will be held one or two days following the conclusion of Immunity Challenges. During the one day break the members of the tribe may discuss strategy, but are to e-mail their votes to the webmaster before Tribal Council is to be held. Tribal Councils will be held through e-mail. However there may be occurrances in which the host will opt to do the Tribal Councils live. If that is the case, castaways involved in that will be given fair warning as to when this will occur.

4. The Format of the Game: There are two main stages in the game, Tribal and Individual. In the tribal stage of the game, the castaways will be competing in separate and opposing tribes. During this time, the tribe as a whole wins or loses Immunity and Reward. The other stage, Individual, is in affect once a merge has happened. At this point the remaining players will be competing idividually for Immunity and Reward. Final when only two players are left in the game, they will face a jury of the peers that they have voted out before them. At that point the jury will take over and officially vote for the person they believe should be the Sole Survivor. HOWEVER, the host has made drastic changes to the usual format of the game, so please do not assume that anything will remain the same.
