Fox
Fox the Fighter
Fox isn't as hard hitting as the other characters, having relatively weak attack (With the exceptions of his smash attacks) and is generally overprioitised by other characters. But fox is as quick as lightning and can combo his opponents into oblivion. Fox has great mobility and comback ability, running, dodging and air speed and has hardly any delay on his attacks. However fast he may seem, fox does have a major weakness, his UP+B recovery attack (FIRE FOX) is very slow and usually allows fox to be spiked relatively easy.

Fox's Combos/Tactics
Combos : Submitted by Purple Camel - December 2001
Name: Fox Juggle
Procedure: 2-7 Light UP+A attacks, then an UP+A SMASH to finish them. If they survive that, then try to jump up and before they land use your AERIAL UP+A attack to hit them up again and again until they either over prioritise your AERIAL UP+A attack, or you finish them.
Damage: 33 - 100%(usually finish them by the time you deal 100% of damage)
Note: Against heavy characters like Link or DK, you can usually KO them or deal a lot of damage.

Name: Killer Kicking Combo
Procedure:In the air, use Fox's AERIAL BACK+A attack to lightly hit the opponent to either side of you, then fall to that side to hit them again with your AERIAL UP+A attack to finish the combo.
Damage: 44 - 55%
Note: Good to rack up early damage, but can't really finish because at high damages, the attacks hit the opponent too far away.

Tactics : Submitted by Purple Camel - December 2001

Reflector Spike
This is a very hard move to pull off, but when you do get it right, it becomes one of the best spikes in the game. Stand at the edge of the platform you are guarding, when the opponent tries to get back jump out to them using ONE jump and wait until the instnat you touch them and use REFLECTOR. You MUST be touching them for it to hit. If you've done this right, REFLECTOR will outprioritise ANY move the opponent uses to tyr and attack you or return. Then the opponent will be flung in a diagonally down direction away from the platform to their doom. You can then use your scond jump and your UP+B move to get back to the platform.
