HISTORY OF THE ORION FEDERATION

The Orion Federation is equivalent to the 20th Century organized crime family. We operate within every territory and empire within the Star Trek Universe. The Pirates, Warriors, and Traders are a group of large crime families who control various sectors of space. Their main territory falls within the Federation because their home world Orion is a member of the Federation. The guilds tend to blend in with the territory they operate out of because most of their membership is made up of races native to that empire (i.e. Humans in the Federation, Klingons in the Klingon empire). Citizens with in each territory are aware that these pirates exist but are not aware of who they actually are. The guilds are in constant battle for power over the universe, like the organized crime families they want to have control with out being in public positions of power. The union of these families is what will lead to the diversity necessary to rule the Universe!

The Orion Federation was Born September 30th, 2001, when an official request was submitted to Genetic Anomalies for faction status in the STCO Gaming Community. Since this point the Federation has grown and gained new members, and even begun to see its share of alliances and enemies made.
