| Secret push bike (3 ways to unlock it) | At the character selection screen press and hold L + R, release L, then release R. Hold L + R again, release them simultaneously, then press A. |
| Highlight a driver at the character selection screen. Then press L + R, L + R, L + R, and the hold L + R + Up and select your player. | |
| Complete all the sixteen Crazy box levels. | |
| Expert mode | At the main menu press and hold L+R+Start. When the character selection screen appears press A to select game mode and variation. |
| Disable arrow indicators | Press and hold R + Start after choosing your time limit before the character selection screen appears. |
| Disable destination indicator | Press and hold L + Start after choosing your time limit and before the character selection screen appears. |
| Another Day mode | Press R at the character selection screen and release it. Then hold R and press A. |
| Alternate Display | Start a game in arcade or original mode. Press and hold L + R and then press Y button on the controller on port three to display a speedometer. |
