Go to the closet.

Pick up the broom.
Look at the shelf a few times.
Us the broom on the shelf.
Pick up the crowbar.

You need oil and the car keys.
Use the oil on the car first.
After using the oil, use the key on the car.
Interact with the car.

You can talk to the broom but it won't do any good in your quest.
Could the pothole be phoney?
Look at the pothole.
Talk to the broom.
Get the tape from the pothole.
Get the broken pipe from the broken gas tube.
Use the cupp of tape with the tube.
Use the tube on the mountain.
Use the diamonds on the door.
