Deja Vu

I just had my first deja vu in quite some time. I used to have several per week. I was sweeping the floor of my new basement room and as i was walking towards the corner to put the broom and dustpan away I suddenly recognized everything that was happening: the position of the other broom, the cement floor, the lighting, even the exact actions i was performing. It only lasted a short time, but I like deja vu and it makes an impression on me.

I've wondered if deja vu occurs when a person is on the right path in their life. I don't believe in fate or destiny but the only times i get deja vu is when I like where I am and where I'm headed. It used to confuse me, now it's a close friend. Does having this first one in so long mean I'm back on the right path? My life has very recently taken a drastic turn. I could very well be headed to a better future then the one I was creating for myself.

Whatever deja vu is or means I like it, and I'm glad it's a part of my life again. I look forward to more.
