This is one of the best racing games available for the Gamecube. This game is high speed adrenaline pumpimg action. Race through cities and many other places at a fast pace. In this game you can drift around corners and take straight-aways at 100+ mph speeds. Just watch out for traffic. One crash could ruin your race. Build up turbo with drifting, near misses, and driving on the wrong side of the road. But if you crash, your fender-bender with be replayed for you 2-3 depending on length. You can race in many modes from Championship to unlock tracks, to Time Attack, and Survival mode where one crash means game over. Don't forget getting to ram your friends into traffic on the 2-player mode. Also, watch out for that clock. Yep, this game has checkpoints.

I love racing games, and this game feeds my need for speed (ha ha). I love the arcade-style racing, drifting is real fun. The graphics are great and the one of the best parts are crashes. The people at Acclaim and Criterion did a great job with the crashes. Though it replays it, many people seem to have the effect wear off, but I like it. If your not sure about buying it, at least rent this game. You may regret not playing it sooner.
