Capcom's amazing Survival Horror game which puts you up against the most horrific enemies is at it again. The first-of-its-kind game, Resident Evil, is here for the GameCube. The most noticable part of the game is the amazingly real graphics making Resident Evil the most realistic and terrifying game so far created. The gameplay for this version is also upgraded from the original featuring all the control improvements from the later games like improved auto-aiming and the 180 degree turn function. In this game you can choose between two characters from the get go. Then you navigate through the creepy mansion and many other places collect items and clues to what's happened. This game is a must buy.
Why this is one of my favorites:
Graphics, gotta be the graphics. This is the most realistic game, better than any Xbox or PS2 title I've seen. The third person perspective is very unique and makes the game look that much better (helps you too see what's coming too). Blasting zombies is also great. The weapons are cool: 9mm Beretta, Shotgun, Magnum, Grenade launcher... all it's missing is some automatic weapon. The character models are great, plenty of detail, fun to watch cut-scenes, challenging puzzels, etc. Also, your actions actually do effect the outcome adding to the experience.
