Bloody Roar: Primal Fury Bloody Roar: Primal Fury

1-2 Player Simultaneous

Genre: Fighting

Developer: Activision/Hudson Soft

ESRB Rating:

Bloody Roar: Primal Fury was one of the first fighting games brought to the GameCube (the other being Super Smash Brothers Melee). The slogan for this game 'Fight like an Animal' basically sums up the entire game. This game features a wide array of characters with different fighting styles, specials, combos, and not to mention beast forms. Now I'm sure your thinking "Beast form? What's that?". If you're not already familiar with Bloody Roar for PSX or Primal Fury, here's what that's about. In the game you can transform into alternate animal forms and continue your skull bashing, shin kicking, fists-of-fury fighting action.

Why this game is one of my favorites:
I like this game because it's such an addictive game. Also, I myself am not the best at fighting games, but fortunately this game has combos galore, so if you're just a button masher you can pull off some pretty cool moves the first time you play. However, is it also features many more advanced combos, throws, and specials for you more advanced fighters. The graphics are also great. If you get to see you character up close you can see the detail put in. Fighting moves are also executed in a fluid motion, no jerking around for you. This is why this games has made it to my favorites list.
