| Name: George Poole
Appearance: Poole is 64 years old, has light blue eyes and white hair that is rather thin on top. He is a bit on the stout side, and stands 5'10" tall. Poole always dresses impeccably for a butler. Skills/personality: Poole is a very experienced butler, careful and meticulous in his work, with very high demands both on himself and those serving under him. He can sometimes appear overly strict and a bit harsh, but he has a kind heart. He worries about Dr. Jekyll's health and can at times be slightly over-protective. Poole is a fairly educated man and in his spare time - the little that he allows himself - likes to read books and newspapers. Poole rarely shows his emotions to anyone. He prefers his own company and socializes very little with the other servants. If Poole is troubled, he sometimes confides in Mrs. Kent, the cook. Poole is very devoted to his master and the most loyal of the servants one can imagine. Past: Poole, called Mr. Poole by all other servants, has been serving in the Jekyll household for 35 years. When he first came to the house as an under-butler, he served DR. William Jekyll, father of Henry Jekyll. Henry was a mere schoolboy of eleven years at that time. When William Jekyll died some ten years ago, Poole stayed to serve his son as efficiently and loyally as he always has served the father. |
