Personality: Although Lucy has gone through hard and tough times, she hasn't lost her optimistic nature. She hasn't given up hope for a better life, but this very life has not given her a chance yet to get out of her situation. Working for her pimp "Spider", the owner of the 'Red Rat', Lucy has difficulties to adapt to his rules. Though accepting her life as it is, with no real alternative, her behavior has provoked him and made him punish her. She has never met a man whom she would call decent, but the encounter with Henry Jekyll has changed her view.
Past: Lucy is the illegitimate child of a prostitute who worked in the brothel 'The Red Rat'. Circumstances were difficult and her upbringing hard, but she was loved by her mother. As a young girl, Lucy started to work as a help in the kitchen, but when she was 8 years old, her mother died and the other girls of the bar looked after her, protecting her as long as they could. Lucy was always a pretty girl, and at the early age of 12, she already began to look more like a woman than a girl. Spider did not fail to notice that, and soon began ordering young Lucy to his rooms.
