Appearance: At 23 years of age, Bet still has a girlish look to her. Standing 5'3" tall, she has long brown hair and dark eyes in a round face, and while she isn't unattractive, her appearance is average.
Skills and Personality: Bet is hard working, reliable, honest and sensitive, though somewhat shy around strangers. Bet experiences precognitive dreams and visions; sometimes as images and sometimes as sounds. She looks at these psychic visions as a curse rather than a blessing, and doesn't really like to speak about them. These visions are very unsettling to her, as they often come true; or at least they reveal parts of the truth.
Past: Bet was born Elizabeth Clare O'Hallorhan in Dublin, Ireland. She grew up with a neighbor girl named Molly Riordan, whom Bet's mother all but raised. Encouraged to keep Molly from a far less desirable background, Bet brought her to London. Both at the age of seventeen, they found work in different households, Bet in that of Sir Danvers Carew. Recently, she removed herself from the Carew household, becoming the newest member of the Jekyll household staff.
