The Pillars of Society (Or are they?)
Dr. Charles Blake: Husband to Gabriella Blake, Charles is employed at S:t Jude's Hospital and is a rather timid and conventional Doctor. He is a kind gentleman in his forties of average appearance.
The Rochester Family : Laura, eldest child of Elsa and Hastie Lanyon, she is married to William. William is a hardworking young Lawyer. They have a daughter, Janie, who is the first grandchild of the the Lanyon Family. This young family has recently moved to Bath.
Simon Stride: Barely a member of society, he was engaged to Emma till he was caught in bed with Molly, who was then a maid at the Carew Household. Simon is is in his thirties, a tall handsome man with dark hair and a small moustache. Generally disliked by others because of his cold-heartedness.
Ethan Phillips: Ethan is a young medical student, about 20 years old. He is short and has reddish hair and freckles. Ethan is curious and has a great sense of humor, yet he can be serious and sensitive when needed to. Ethan is an admirer of Dr. Jekyll's work, and Jekyll has just decided to take him on as a hospital assistant.
