Name: Edward Hyde

Appearance: Edward Hyde stands 6'2" tall, which is the same height as Henry Jekyll. Hyde often walks crouched down though, and therefore might appear to be somewhat shorter. He has long, rich, dark hair that hangs loosely around his shoulders and often in his face. Hyde seems to be unshaven; and while not having true fangs, his canines are pronounced and look rather predatory. His eyes are very dark and penetrating. When angry, Hyde's eyes burn with an inner fire, and at times they seem to stare deep into a person's soul. He resembles Dr. Jekyll in appearance somewhat, but Hyde seems to be a younger version. He gives the appearance of being somewhere in his twenties. Hyde is very muscular, rather more powerfully built than Dr. Jekyll, and has a larger amount of body hair. His voice is very deep and slightly raspy; and when enraged, Hyde tends to growl or snarl like a wild animal. Hyde usually dresses in simple clothes of good quality, preferring to wear dark or black colors. He hates neckties, waistcoats or any restrictive pieces of clothing.
Skills:   Edward Hyde is officially the lab assistant of Dr. Jekyll. Hyde has great strength, and a very bad temper - which is a dangerous combination. Hyde has heightened senses and can see very well in the dark, and hear the smallest sounds. He can also detect people's feelings - such as fear, hate or lust - by his keen sense of smell. Hyde is able to move very quietly and stealthily. He is agile and, at times, amazingly fast.
Personality: Edward Hyde can be described as shrewd, volatile, eccentric, violent, manipulative, rude, sarcastic, fearless, passionate and impulsive among other things. He has a great appetite of life in general; especially wines and women, and he loves a good fight. Though he is as intelligent as Dr. Jekyll, his impulsivity and his anger often gets him into trouble. His whole being seems to be bursting with energy, which makes him restless and very easily angered. Hyde seems to enjoy taunting and teasing people, tearing down their facades and revealing their innermost, hidden secrets.

Jekyll and Hyde seems to have come closer to one another lately, and each received a small portion of the other man's characteristics. This is more noticeable in Dr. Jekyll than in Hyde, but Hyde seems to be slightly calmer than before. At times, Hyde is aware of Jekyll's thoughts and vice versa. Jekyll and Hyde presently seems to live in some kind of uneasy truce.

Edward Hyde has met a lady of the night, Lucy Harris, in the bar called the Red Rat. His feelings for her have grown much; and he seeks her out as often as possible, though he is also very jealous and have been known to be violent with her. He cannot stand the thought that Lucy might also care for his alter ego Henry Jekyll.

Past: Edward Hyde was born out of the fracture in Dr. Jekyll's soul, and he has been in existance for several months. Hyde mainly feels contempt for his alter ego; thinking him old, weak and foolish. But sometimes his emotions change, and a few times Hyde has also been known to be oddly protective of the Doctor.
