Guilty Gear (PSOne).
Alternate colors:
In the character selection prompt, push Square,
Triangle, Circle, or X.
Hidden difficulty setting:
Hold Square + R2 + L1 + Down at the PlayStation
logo, and keep the buttons held as the game loads.
Unlock Testament or Justice:
Finish normal mode as any character.
Unlock Baiken:
Finish normal mode with Sol or Ky. Baiken
will appear after the credits. Defeat her to unlock her in versus and training
modes. Note: Baiken is very fast and very cheap.
Unlock Bosses for the Japanese version:
Press Down + Square + L1 + R2 at the Arc System
Works logo. Release the buttons when the phrase "Team Neo Blood" disappears.
Testament, Justice, and Baiken may now be selected in versus mode. This
also replaces the "Normal" mode with "Hard" mode.
Soundtrack:
Place the game disc in an audio CD player
and play track two to hear music from the game.
Guilty Gear X (PS2).
Unlock Testament and Dizzy:)
At "Press Start" screen, press Down, Right(2),
Up, Start to unlock Testament and Dizzy.
Or
Complete the game in arcade mode or reach
level 20 in survival mode then defeat Testament. Reach level 30 in survival
mode and defeat Dizzy to unlock her in all modes.
Guilty Gear mode:
Reach level 100 in survival mode and defeat
the last opponent to unlock the Guilty Gear mode option. Alternately, unlock
Testament and Dizzy then successfully complete arcade mode without losing
any rounds with the time option set at 60 seconds. This may be done with
any difficulty and round number setting.
In the GG Mode, the movement of the characters is a lot faster than the regular Arcade Mode or VS. Mode, adding more excitement to the fight. The special attacks of each character are more dramatic and fun to watch.
Common changes for all characters:
1. There is no acceleration in Dash, however
there is a constant highest speed Dash.
2. JC applies to all general moves. JC is
not possible for part of the lever attack.
3. The speed of Aerial Dash is faster and
Dash motion can be cancelled with a certain technique.
4. There is no limit in height for low-rise
Aerial Dash.
5. Part of technique performance has been
changed.
Using this mode, you can play modified characters.
Enjoy it as an entirely different game.
Alternate costumes:
Hold Start, Triangle, or X when selecting
a fighter at the character selection screen to choose three alternate costume
colors.
Play as Robo Ky:
Pick Guilty Gear mode and choose Ky at the
character selection screen.
Use a Special attack (any character) :
Press Triangle + Square during a match
Guilty Gear X2 (PS2).
Unlocking Characters:
Survival Mode is the key to unlocking many
things within GGX2. By winning fights against DAREDEVIL opponents (about
once every ten levels) you will unlock extra characters in EX and SP modes.
Get EX fighters:
Beat an EX character in survival mode, Now
press and hold L2 when choosing highlight that fighter at the character
selection screen to play as their EX version.
Get stage select:
When picking versus or training mode, push
R2 when selecting a fighter in the opponent selection prompt.
More Arcade and MOM Modes:
When you are in the main menu, press and hold
down L2 while selecting Arcade or MOM modes to fight against EX characters.
If you press and hold down L1 you will fight against Gold characters.
Another way to Unlock EX and SP Modes:
By unlocking Story Mode Endings #1 and #2
for a character to unlock their EX Mode. If you unlock every one of the
three character's Story Mode Endings you will unlock their SP Mode.
Make Slayer say a Haiku:
When you are in the Sound Test, while picking
Slayer's private sounds, you can push Square to hear Slayer recite a haiku.
Unlock Robo Ky:
Do one of these three things.
Unlock Kliff:
Do one of these three things.
Unlock Justice:
Do one of these three things.
Unlock Justice's Story Mode
By finishing all 60 Story Mode paths and another
one will appear for Justice.
Get Guilty Gear Mode
By unlocking every one of the 60 Story Mode
paths and Guilty Gear Mode option will show up in the Game Options. This
mode speeds up gameplay and most moves become jump cancelable, and air
dashes can be performed close to the ground.
