Story.
In his efforts to create a mechanical human weapon, a scientist with the Shusen Kanrikyoku (Postwar Administration Bureau) was monitoring Ky Kiske, previous entree of the Gear tournaments and a known warrior during the Holy War. Robo Ky was created with the data that was collected by the scientist and his observations. Robo Ky was completed right after the previous tournament and was supposed to be tested to determine how useful he can be in battle and was ordered to join in the fights. However he never made it to the tournaments as a result of being sidetracked with events on his way there. For a robot, he has a cold, egotistical personality and may have ulterior motives to that of his superiors.
