Heavyweight Zora Folley (#20) wins a unanimous decision over George "Scrap Iron" Johnson (#11) in 10 rounds by a wide margin. Folley lands far more often early, slickly avoiding most of Scrap Iron's counters. Folley continues to easily outbox Johnson in the middle rounds, circling and throwing hard shots. Folley staggers Johnson at the end of round 7, with a nice uppercut. Johnson holds while Folley hammers him on the inside in the last few rounds. Folley ends up winning almost every round, winning the unanimous decision. In a crowd pleasing matchup of sluggers, heavyweight rookie Friday Ahunanya (UR) scores a shocking 3rd round upset knockout of Elzear Rioux (#8). Ahunanya lands a paralyzing shot to the liver, dropping Rioux for a 9 count in the opening minute. Rioux rises, but continues to get pummeled the rest of the round. The pair trade bombs at ring center in the 2nd round, and almost every punch thrown lands big. Rioux seems completely recovered, and he's finding Ahunanya's head with some flush shots in the 3rd, when suddenly Ahunanya lands a right cross that travels about 3 feet and knocks Rioux cold. Ahunanya bursts onto the scene upsetting a man who fought for the title in his last fight. Light heavyweight Eric Harding (#10) wins a unanimous decision over rookie Johnny Wall (UR) in 10 rounds. Harding dominates the early rounds, crowding the rookie and landing thudding body shots and uppercuts. After absorbing quite a bit of punishment in the 3rd, Wall stuns Harding with a right hand. Wall aggressively tears into Harding, throwing some accurate hooks while Eric covers up. Harding really turns up the workrate in the 5th, and Wall doesn't have any time to punch back. Wall starts to swell a bit in round 7, and Harding is warned for holding and hitting as he outworks Wall some more. Harding fights in spurts late, but Wall doesn't fight at all. Unanimous decision win for Eric Harding. Cruiserweight Joey DeGrandis (#5) wins a unanimous decision over rookie Tee Jay (UR) in 10 rounds. DeGrandis out hustles Jay early, confusing him with angles and popping crisp counterpunches. By round 4 DeGrandis' stinging jabs raise a swelling on Jay's left eye. Jay paws at the eye while eating straight punches through the middle rounds. The action slows late, and DeGrandis picks up a warning for a low blow in the 8th. DeGrandis brings it home in the 10th when Jay finally gets him to trade, punishing Jay on his blind side.

HWRosco Toles (#14, 9-2-0, 1KO) W12 Tom McMahon (#13, 4-4-1, 0KO)

HWPaul Cavalier (#9, 8-3-1, 3KO) W10 Irish Pat Duncan (UR, 0-1-0, 0KO)

In an important heavyweight matchup, Sinan Samil Sam (#5) wins a unanimous decision over Gerald "Tuffy" Griffiths (#2) in 12 rounds in Sam's adopted home of Germany. Sam staggers Griffiths with a left hook early in round 2. Griffiths absorbs a big uppercut, then lands a damaging body punch as round 2 ends. Sam again staggers Tuffy in round 3, then he drops Griffiths with a body punch for a 6 count electifying the partisan crowd. Griffiths slides away after rising, but he looks shellshocked. Griffiths recovers to trade bombs in the 4th, and both men catch some thudding shots. Sam continues to work the body to devastating effect in round 5, as Griffiths slows. Sam seems punched out in the 6th missing with sloppy haymakers while Griffiths lands some light counterpunches. Sam has a good rally late in the 7th, catching Griffiths in the corner with a straight right almost flooring Tuffy, and raising a swelling on his left eye. Griffiths sees it slipping away so he goes all out in round 8, and he has Sam out on his feet after an uppercut and a big rally and Sam's eye swells too. Griffiths goes for it again in the 9th, but Sam catches him coming in with an uppercut that drops Tuffy for a 6 count as the round ends. Sam drops Griffiths again with a body punch in the 10th and Tuffy knows he needs a miracle after rising at 6. The action slows and both men are virtually half blind by the 11th. Griffiths comes on strong in the final round, but Sam finishes on his feet to take the unanimous decision 115-110 all around. In a rematch of a Toles victory from last April, heavyweight Rosco Toles (#13) wins a unanimous decision over Tom McMahon (#14) in 12 rounds. McMahon hopes to catch Toles this time early, but Toles makes it a slow, frustrating night for McMahon by jabbing and holding in the early rounds. Both men are warned for fouls during the mauling and wrestling and the crowd boos the lack of action. Finally the action picks up in round 8, and the very tired McMahon suffers a cut eye during the trading. Toles worsens the cut during a good exchange in round 10 when McMahon finally wobbles Toles with a right to the body. Toles is punishing Tom in the 11th when McMahon suffers a second cut over the other eye when a clash of heads occurs. McMahon induces Toles to trade in the final round bringing the crowd alive, but Toles gets the better of it to cap off a unanimous decision win. Heavyweight Larry Middleton (#12) wins a unanimous decision over George LaRocco (#10) in 10. Middleton looks great early, hooking off of a snapping jab while mostly evading LaRocco's clumsy counters. LaRocco stuns Middleton with an uppercut and a right cross as round 4 ends. LaRocco comes forward working the body in round 5, but Middleton hurts him late in the round with an uppercut. Middleton is winning round 6 when LaRocco hits him low, costing George a point. Middleton comes on strong in the 7th, hammering LaRocco who suddenly looks exhausted. Middleton dominates the late rounds, though LaRocco lands a couple flush right hands and a head butt in the 9th. Middleton takes the unanimous decision to win his 5th straight fight. Heavyweight Paul Cavalier (#9) wins a unanimous decision over rookie Irish Pat Duncan (UR) in 10 entertaining rounds. Cavalier easily outboxes Duncan in round 1, but Duncan lands a big right hand as the round ends. It's obvious that Duncan only has a puncher's chance, but he makes the most of it, wobbling Cavalier early in the 2nd before Cavalier comes back ferociously. Duncan tires by the 5th, and Cavalier boxes from the outside as Irish Pat feebly pursues. Cavalier staggers Pat half-way through round 6 with a crushing uppercut, and Duncan looks glassy eyed after absorbing some big punches on the ropes as the round ends. Duncan's head clears, and he staggers Paul with an overhand right that has Cavalier covering up for the rest of round 7. Duncan wildly tries to land something big in the final rounds and he does in the 9th, forcing Cavalier to plant his feet and trade. Duncan tries to get another one home, but Cavalier counters his ears off, punctuating the exchange with a great right cross that almost drops Duncan. Pat doesn't land another punch as Cavalier brings it home with a masterful final round, capping the unanimous decision.

Heavyweight Tommy Martin (#6) scores a 7th round TKO over Frank Yarchan (#19). Martin dominates early, stunning Yarchan in each of 3 rounds with wild haymakers. Yarchan rarely throws a punch, allowing Martin to hammer him all night. Yarchan goes down twice in round 5, and he starts to take a fearful beating. Half way through round 7 Martin drops Frank with a shot to the liver. Yarchan rises at 8, but he takes another flush right hand that sends him staggering to the ropes when the referee calls the fight. Light heavyweight Prince Charles Williams (#3) wins a unanimous decision over Jorge Ahumada (#5) in 12 rounds. Both men have good power and soft chins, and the early action shows it. Each wobbles several times from the big shots, but Ahumada seems to get there first more often. Williams almost floors Jorge with a huge right hand in round 4. Williams presses the fight, hurting Ahumada badly in the 5th. Ahumada fights back but Williams plain outguns him inside and outside in the middle rounds. Both fighters slow in the 10th, and Ahumada wins the round with some nice work to the body. Both exhausted fighters don't do much the final 2 rounds, and Williams takes the unanimous decision. Heavyweight Gunboat Smith (#4) wins a unanimous decision over George Stirling (#21) in 10 rounds. Stirling lands a couple good shots in round 1, until Smith times a jab and lands a big uppercut that drops Stirling for a 6 count as the first round ends. Stirling trades in round 2, but Smith gives him a drubbing that starts George's eye swelling. Smith staggers him again in the 4th, landing a couple of big right hands. Smith continues to tee off on the weakening Aussie in the middle rounds. Stirling hangs tough late and Smith is content to cautiously jab in the final 2 rounds taking a unanimous decision. Cruiserweight Jean-Marc Mormeck (#2) scores a 6th round TKO over Saul Montana (#4) in a great throw down. Montana roars out of his corner to land a huge right hand that has Mormeck staggering to the ropes covering up. Montana wobbles Mormeck again late in the stirring 1st round. Montana presses his advantage early in the 2nd but Mormeck opens up after a thudding left hook wobbles Montana. Both men have their moments in the middle rounds, but Montana does the better work with a bruising body attack. Mormeck wobbles Montana with an uppercut early in round 6, and Jean-Marc lets it all hang out punishing Montana who is being held up by the ropes until the ref stops it with 20 seconds left in round 6.
