Step-by-step instructions for most efficient use:

1) Remove any line that references EMM386.EXE from
your CONFIG.SYS configuration file.

2) Boot directly into DOS...use MS-DOS mode if you
cannot do this. In both cases, *reboot* your PC for the
changes in (1) to take effect.

3) Create a new directory for ST.EXE ( = "Screen Thief" =
a program that takes screenshots in DOS).

4) Run ST.EXE

5) Go to your Harvester directory and play the game up
to the point where you want to take your screenshot.

6) Press Ctrl-Alt-t

7) Wait a few seconds.

8) Press the same keys to take other shots if you want.

9) Open a GIF file viewer (any Web browser will do).

10) Go to your Harvester directory and look at all your
new GIF files.

11) Screen Thief is unloaded from memory when you
reboot your computer or go to your Screen Thief directory
and type: st /u

* Note: You *might* get Screen Thief to work within Windows95
and you *might* get it to work when EMM386.EXE is in
memory...I cannot though. Try ST.EXE on other DOS games if
you want. Use Windows' "Print Screen" capability for the
movies within Harvester rather than Screen Thief.

Also note that typing: ST /OUTPUT:BMP will give you BMP
screenshots rather than GIF.

If you take a lot of screenshots and/or want to take shots
of obscure locations/situations, then a healthy supply of saved
games is a necessity.
